Cutting the cable, lets talk options and media setups (6 Viewers)

$73.xx w/tax for Cox in Prairieville. Was higher until I called them and they knocked it down to that.
That's for 150 MBPS download. I usually get about 100 MBPS on my 5GH wifi. for some reason the 2.4 GH is terrible about 20 MBPS, not sure if I have something interfering with the signal or what.

It's time for me to finally make the move. AT&T U-verse still does not carry NFL Network (contract dispute). I'm bout to kick them beaches to the curb!!!!

I signed up for Fubo to watch the game last night, then canceled when the game was over lol

Hulu had major problems on NBA opening night, freezing, rewinding itself etc,so I dropped it and went to YoutubeTv and dont regret it for a second.

So now the setup is FireTV 4k,FireTV Recast,Mohu Leaf 60 antenna,YoutubeTv,Philo and PlutoTv. Does everything I need it to.

Of the setup above, which ones besides YoutubeTv have monthly recurring charges?

I’m about to cut the cord myself, but i know that if i’m not careful, the costs of YoutubeTv, HBOnow, Netflix, Hulu etc etc will easily outweigh the savings.. so i’m just looking to streamline things as much as possible.

Also, and i may have missed it since i didnt read through the previous 58 PAGES- but does anyone have a recommendation for a good dvr system i could set up? I’m not very tech savvy, so the simpler, the better.

Most of the streaming services have DVR capabilities...

Philo Is 19.95 a month, but you get a ton of the cable networks minus sports. I have kids,so It was a necessary addition for us,for the Nickelodeon channels,so Im paying right under 70 for both services.

Looks like Playstation Vue is on the way out... too bad, I've enjoyed it and it has a nice lineup.

I just don't get it either. For me, it has been the best cable replacement of all the streaming services. However, the knock seems to be the name. It seems most people think that you need a Play Station to use it. Hopefully, it will not go away cause I'm not impressed with any of the other streaming services currently.

I eventually dropped Vue, but the best thing about it was the split view feature. But even that was a problem as it was only available on the PS version until recently. Sony did some horrible marketing with the product.
