Does anyone in NOLA use Playstation Vue for streaming? Seems like it carries local channels (at least according to the website).

I've had PS Vue for about 2-3 years now. We actually live around the Morgan City area so I can't directly confirm your channels. However, we have had ABC, CBS, and local Fox for awhile through Vue. Just recently, Vue added a local NBC. We like Vue and I don't see us getting rid of it anytime soon. Good luck!Does anyone in NOLA use Playstation Vue for streaming? Wondering if y'all can help as I do not have the patience to read through 56 pages of messages.....
I currently have AT&T Uverse and also subscribe to Netflix and Prime (not really for TV content). Two adults and two teens in the house. I watch primarily sports and some movies in the evenings (mostly in the winter). Currently have Showtime and HBO, but HBO was added for GoT earlier this year.
My daughter saves shows to the hard drive frequently, so I was hoping to keep that option. I need to watch Saints and LSU, so hoping to have the channels that carry them. Uverse is in negotiations with NFL Network now....haven't had it for several months. I'm an NFL fan, so that is something that I would like to have when the season starts. My wife watches primarily local news and broadcast channels.
I own a couple fire sticks, a ROKU, and my son has a PS4. My network is pretty good with no issues at this time.
Can y'all give me some solid options? I really need the local channels and sports stations that carry the Saints and LSU. I would pay $5-10 a month for HBO if the service I go with carries it in that price range. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Very true. I'm asking for a unicorn at a good price.if you have to have Saints and LSU with strictly legal options, then that really limits the options on the table. Something with local coverage of the Saints and ESPN for LSU. And the hard drive option - are you looking to download to watch offline or to record live streamed tv and watch later, like tivo? I'm not familiar with an easy system that will give you all of this with legal and ease of use compared to cable. Would require some prioritizing of needs/wants and deciding how much time you want to invest in setting up hardware and such. For example, if you're able to access TV shows at any time, is saving shows still important?
Would ESPN+ work? Disney plus is bundling that and the ad based hulu.
Roku with PlayStation Vue...it is all you need. PlayStation vue should have your local stations, mine does in Mississippi.Wondering if y'all can help as I do not have the patience to read through 56 pages of messages.....

That is a big misconception about Vue. You do not need a Playstation at all. I know there are PS Vue apps for Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, etc. I currently use a Nvidia Shield(Android TV) which can be a little pricey but very good speed. As far as a VPN, PS Vue usually doesn't like them as they end an error message that you are not watching in the zip code in which you account was set up.that was actually why I asked about the Playstation above - I have a friend who has sworn by his VUE for years. I think - if you had a PS system - it might be the easiest to use or move over to. Could pick up a used one now for pretty cheap. We ran it on our PS3 for a while, but it didn't work well with the VPN we were using at the time and haven't used it in a couple of years. Good suggestion.
We are considered in the Baton Rouge area and have locals from ABC, CBS, NBC, and Fox. NBC just became available as a "live" channel as it was only on-demand before.before I went bootleg IPTV, PS Vue was my favorite. I tied all the others, HULU, DTV NOW, Sling, and (I think) Philo. PS Vue was the one I preferred. But eventually the lack of Local channels (Baton Rouge only had Ch 9 at the time) pointed me toward what I use now. It was OK on the Roku, but the Firestick App was much better. If I had to go back legit, I would try YouTube Tv service now that Google and Amazon kissed and made up.

interesting you have trouble with CBS also. i've tried all over the house, stretched the cable out the full 10', re-searched for channels, moved again, re-searched again. moved to my bedroom and tried that tv and re-searched. nothing.
