DA is gone. Don’t jump on the disrespect, he did a lot of good here (2 Viewers)

he's a fine DC and i'm sure he'll get back on his feet pretty soon. just not a good HC.

DA is gone. Don’t jump on the disrespect

Zero love from me. He single-handedly undid everything that SP and Brees helped build. This isn’t a wash type scenario. His failures and shortcomings greatly superseded any good that he did. We should’ve been in the playoffs this year and the past two. I don’t condone failure of this magnitude. I hope he lives a good life but he is getting zero love from me, unless he can give me all of those Sundays back that I had to watch his lifeless stare on the sidelines. Yeah I’m being petty and bitter……don’t care. Come @ me bro
Yep, it’s been 2.5 seasons of the most boring, miserable Saints football in a hell of a long time. DA’s made millions in that time while we’ve all bored ourselves to tears every Sunday. Good riddance to him.

No disrespect, the ownership did what was best, most coaches get three years to show and improve and this was year three so.....

DA's defenses always choked in the biggest moments
Nah, not always. They protected many one-score leads from 2017-2021. The 2018 PIT game late season to secure homefield advantage, the 2017 playoff game vs. CAR are two that come to mind right away. The misses stand out because they usually meant the season ended but they performed well in the clutch several times.

Ryan Neilson is who we need back! He would shore this defense up solid! He’s the reason for DAs success! I do like Joe Woods but our pressure packages are not doing as designed! The Defensive line really needs some fine tuning! There’s promise up front but more is to be desired! Hopefully, a change in coaching will be a change in overall team mentality? That last drive by Carolina yesterday was empowered through a Saints defense which has grown accustomed to flat out giving up on each other!

It was time for Dennis Allen to go. Someone had to be held accountable.

He had horrible injury luck his first year and this year. The OL situation was impossible but they needed a change.

However, I hope we don’t continue the complete disrespect. His overall coaching record doesn’t really have much to do with the Saints. He was .500 coach after week 2.

DA did a lot for the Saints and New Orleans as the secondary coach in our Super Bowl run and as a DC he helped keep Brees and Sean going for another 4-5 seasons and ended our defensive nightmare overnight.

It absolutely didn’t workout with him as Head Coach, but let’s remember to appreciate some of the things that did go right for him here over the last 18 years.

I’m excited about the new direction and thank
you for everything you did here Coach!
For sure, I appreciate what he did and he has been a pretty good defensive coordinator, not great but could have a lot worse than him too. He was and is a great secondary coach when he is able to focus on that.

He's just catastrophically bad as a head coach, but I do not blame him for that. That was known when we hired him, that is on ML not DA.

Dang near 3 years of having to hear wood chopping rhetoric. Never had a dang solution. Couldn’t beat a good/great team. Never had a signature win like I pointed out to the point of no return. You know how bad you have to be, when you can’t even get “lucky” and upset a good team? And you want me to hold off on the disrespect? That dude has disrespected this team, city, fanbase by pulling a wool over yall eyes. He would’ve got my respect had he resigned and tried to save face long time ago. I’m not in the market of someone taking a hot salacious poop on my head and calling it a fudge Sunday.

Ehhh
He still choked too much for my liking.
But as I said in previous post on the topic. DA will bounce back somewhere.

Really he did a lot of good but you name none. I feel that his defense was responsible for keeping us out at least 3 championship games. Vikings (twice) Rams (once). I am also a representative of reason. This is my opinion

He is in the record books for being one of the most losing HC in the NFL. He was once a good DC and thats where he needs to stay. No team should ever promote him to Head coach after this last time out. We all knew at the end of last season that he should have left with Carmichael but it took Loomis too long to figure that out at the fans expense.
