DA is gone. Don’t jump on the disrespect, he did a lot of good here (10 Viewers)

2017 wild card, 5-point lead, sacked Cam Newton to end the game
2018, week 16 vs PIT, 3-point lead, forced fumble to secure home field advantage
2018, divisional round vs Philly, 6-point lead, Lattimore INT ended the Eagles’ attempt to come back
2020, wild card vs Chicago, kept them out of the end zone until the final play and kicked the Bears into a rebuild
XLIV, 7-point lead, a member of the Dennis Allen-coached secondary caught a pick and ran the other way and secured the team’s first Super Bowl.

It’s okay to not like Dennis Allen but some of you are cruel to the point of being ahistorical about the times his defenses DID step up.
Wait a monkey fighting minute...you really citing the 2017 Carolina win. You do remember what happened the play before that right?

If the WR doesn't inexplicably put his hands up in the wrong spot to catch the ball we lose that game

Still made the play on 4th down :idunno:
What I didn’t mention was the interception Drew threw on 4th down at midfield while protecting that 5-point lead

It was time for Dennis Allen to go. Someone had to be held accountable.

He had horrible injury luck his first year and this year. The OL situation was impossible but they needed a change.

However, I hope we don’t continue the complete disrespect. His overall coaching record doesn’t really have much to do with the Saints. He was .500 coach after week 2.

DA did a lot for the Saints and New Orleans as the secondary coach in our Super Bowl run and as a DC he helped keep Brees and Sean going for another 4-5 seasons and ended our defensive nightmare overnight.

It absolutely didn’t workout with him as Head Coach, but let’s remember to appreciate some of the things that did go right for him here over the last 18 years.

I’m excited about the new direction and thank
you for everything you did here Coach!
I really believe DA gave all he had. Unfortunately for him he was a #2 not a HC. He was dealt a pretty rough hand from a salary cap perspective which the new HC will inherit a worse position. More should be held accountable but I don't believe they will.

DA thank you for always being a stand-up guy. We wish you well in Denver.
