Different sport. but the US mens national team players lobbied like hell for Gregg Berhalter to remain head coach, and he coached them to super disappointing group stage exit in the 2nd most important tournament on earth, and was fired right after.

They tend to see comfortable. Sometimes comfort is not what you need.

Isn't that his job? Wish he wasn't so affected by comments. I feel like limiting character count makes it harder to have a meaningful discussion.

That post was from yesterday, but he had it in an article 2-3 days ago so you're right he probably erased it due to being hagged about it, not because it was inaccurate.

Back in the same position we were with hiring DA. This team isn't ready to win, they aren't even close. If you want another patsy coach you can pump sunshine on while knowing you won't win, he's the right guy for the job.

Yep it was in his article yesterday. I think Nick is just tired of people being rude on Twitter and the result is that more and more information is only going to be delivered to subscribers.

Your right that is his job.
But he has to know that when remarks like that are posted, he's going to get that type of heat.

That's why some feel as though he works directly for the team.
