Dennis Allen chewing out Isaiah Foskey (3 Viewers)

Who else was a stand up rusher? Only one I can think of was Kikaha.
Yea he lasted what 1 game? Then an injury ended it, iirc. Come to find out his college carreer was riddled with injuries. So he was a straight up gamble.

Who in the world on the Saints staff scouted Foskey. Because he did not do his job. To pick this player in the second round someone on the Saints staff was sold on him. That scout to me is a bigger issue than Foskey, because he choose him.
You don’t really think “one scout” has the power to decide our second round pick do you? One scout may have tracked his team, conference, region, but in the end the entire scouting department had to have spent many hours on his evaluation. The scouting departments final analysis was then moved up the chain to the team’s position coach, head coach, and the executive staff.

Well if it is two or three of them that sold Foskey to everyone, then it is a huge failure by many.

Yikes, a 2nd rd pick needs to be a contributor.
Foskey was always going to be the 4th DE. It’s just tough to see him actually look like a 4th DE as a 2nd rounder. Instead of a player who can push for close to equal snaps as the 3rd DE.

Granderson flashed more than this as a undrafted rookie. you’d think like Granderson has the 2nd round pedigree and Foskey’s the UDFA.

Did somebody get fired for that pick?

Oh wow. I’ve not seen that! Me likey! Get him some damn juicy fruit too!
You think it's Juicy Fruit? I was thinking it was probably Spearmint. 😊
Man I miss chewing gum. I used to chew Wrigley's gum a lot. All of the flavors except cinnamon. I'd rotate em. But when they started including aspartame in their ingredients, I stopped. I even called Wrigley's one time. Asked if they would make a line of their gum that did not have aspartame. They said they had no plans to do that. Have y'all seen lately what gum is made out of? Tons of chemicals. There is a brand named Pur that uses sugar and probably corn syrup, but no aspartame. But it only tastes ok for a minute or two, then tastes bad. Another brand -- Bubble Yum, perhaps -- didn't use aspartame either. At least not for it's "bubble gum" flavor. But it's been a while since I last checked.

Oh wait -- this isn't the gum fan forum "chewinggum.com" ?

They should have drafted Tuli. I said so many times on here that Foskey did not perform well against Dawand Jones in the Senior Bowl and I was not impressed by him.

Tuli on the other hand is out there making plays.

I'd rather have a guy out of the Big10 or SEC who played real competition just about every week vs some guy from Notre Dame who padded his stats via a creampuff schedule.

How did Foskey even do anything at ND?
Same reason Vernon Gholston was a beast at Ohio State. Big and fast beats regular human O linemen most of the time. There are no regular human O linemen in the NFL. Not even in preseason. I mean just to make a training camp in the NFL you have to be really good.
