Dennis Allen not expecting to make any staff changes going into the Bye (3 Viewers)

Look (imitating DA, who imitates SP), I recall hearing that CSP was starting to rub people within the organization the wrong way towards the end of his tenure with the Saints. No, I don't have quotes and I'm not going to spend days trying to remember where I heard this. I heard that he needed a wheelbarrow to tote his nuts around the facility because his bravado was out of control. ML and some key players were getting tired of his ways and ML was more than happy to let CSP go and get draft capital in the process. So, take it for whatever it's worth, but I believe that rlemieux is right and the truth might come out someday.
Those reports were from unnamed sources iirc. I wouldn't count on that being accurate.

The only thing I heard was that he wanted to come back in this past offseason but they decided to stay with Dennis. If I recall correctly, it was Duncan who reported it, but could be wrong.
If I remember correctly, Sean said something about wanting to come back after that one "off" season, but he didn't want to cause issues in NO because he is friends with DA. I think it was in one of those Cowherd interviews.

I don't blame Nick but it took a while for him to get here. I understand he walks a fine line as an independent journalist.
Him saying the team hasn’t quit on these coaches is what you’re pointing to? Or this team is top of the division and it hasn’t bottomed out yet? Calling on QB and execution and still playing for the coaches still? lol, ok dude!

More than 1 unnamed source. And it’s pretty damn accurate but don’t take my word for it. Again, when the smoke settles, probably in 3-5 years when Sean does an interview or writes a book, it’ll come out. There’s 3 sides to every story but there’s truth to all the sides.

Could be 100 unnamed sources. They're irrelevant until they come out and say it in public. Until that happens, it's all rank speculation.

It’ll come out. Yes, they pushed Sean out. They thought they had their man in house and Sean’s voice got too big. It wasn’t super messy but it happened. Sean politely said if you think you can’t do it without me be my guest. Payton had his issues but he was the key cog that moved this team.
That does not fit the factual reporting of SP on a boat in Miami, trying to back door his way there. If they were trying to push him out, then they could’ve hammered him for that alone bc he was under contract

So you choose DA over Payton? I can see Payton having a huge ego but this seems dumb.
