Guess who made them a 7-10 division-losing team?To be fair, even if the Falcons were in contention for the division, they were a 7-10 team.
Really???? I bet your fun at parties. Have you not been to Mardi Gras? Poking fun at local celebrities...... it's what's dinner here.Expected more of this fanbase.
Someone please get this guy a safe space quickly, before he clutches his pearls again.Classless. Not satire, that’s bullying
Why couldn’t he jus have done to Filipe’s, or Juan’s?!?!The moment he went to Chipotle I knew he was in trouble!
Absolutely classless.
Expected more of this fanbase.
I think Drew was off limits because of the goodwill he brought to the city. Please point me to the Chaos float that made fun of Drew Brees for having a weak arm his last few years. Or any number of floats that could've been dedicated to any number of disappointing Saints over the years.
I appreciate a joke as much as anyone I know but I think some things are off limits.
Well if you kept it transparent and the same with both good for you. But we aren’t throwing fully dressed poboys at opposing fans so we will never look like Philly. These floats aren’t brand new and didn’t just start it’s simply the city. He had a good reaction about it. The rest of you can continue to weep as he sits in his mansionI’ve been a Saints fan since ‘84. So, I ain’t going anywhere. You see folks like me wanting to “shield a rich athlete”, but you can’t see that maybe it’s because we don’t want our fanbase to look like Philly’s. As for the Zion float, I thought it was trashy too. I have spoken my critiques about both, but they are still playing for our teams, and I see absolutely zero value in making fun of them in such a manner. It just makes us look classless. Make fun of Anthony Davis, the Falcons, Goodell, or whoever else is oppositional, but don’t treat our current players like this. I don’t think that’s some sort of laughable or extreme stance.
This is my first time seeing anyone this wound up about a float! Ridiculous lolAll you guys crying for DC, don't know anything about Mardi Gras, but feel the need to to impose their pearl clutching morals and misguided sense of fair play on one of the most time homered traditions of Mardi Gras to......critique, satire, and generally poke fun at local celebrities. And other than being to lewd, nothing is out of bounds.
I haven't seen Derek Carr say anything except the right things about the city and the fanbase since being here. Despite some absurd behavior by the fans...I think Drew was off limits because of the goodwill he brought to the city.
When he said “if you love the city it will love you back” he wasn’t juat whistling Dixie.
Boat raced them and had a coach that apologized for doing it As optimistic as I am about Klint, I remember who our HC is and immediately come back down to earth. They aren’t roping me in this time.To be fair, even if the Falcons were in contention for the division, they were a 7-10 team.
They were a bad team (who also beat us this season) and I don’t think “boat racing” them is a huge deal (although it’s always nice to beat Atlanta).
Mathematically yes, but we never fully recovered from that GB game. Everyone knew that that game was going to bite us. Looking back, we can say that our season was over then, bc we didn’t do what we needed to after that game. We kept losing important games. They weren't out of the playoffs until after the last game was played.
