I do think whatever happens will happen fast. I don't see a scenario where there is gradual improvement over three years like he was building a program.
As "not Falcons fans" how do we feel if we heard they made a deal for Justin Fields? Still not sure how I would feel about that. On one hand he has been a lesser version of Michael Vick. On the other hand, the Bears suck

Not worried about this hire, if it happens. He will be motivated to try and change the narrative that he is washed up and outdated but I don’t think he has the energy or time to make that happen. Unfortunately, for him, I don’t see a Tom Brady on the current Falcon’s roster that can be the savior of Bill’s coaching legacy. I also don’t think that them drafting one of the top 3 quarterbacks will help either. He is too stuck in his ways, and old, to invest the time needed to gel with a new age talent. The doom is in his details. He doesn’t have enough time left to establish the foundation he needs to make his style work. Just my negative falcons biased but I would be much more concerned if they were serious with one of the newer aged minds or Harbaugh.

I don't think I want to see Bill with that defense. They were on the cusp of being very good and penalties were their biggest problem which is something Bill can fix. The offense seems like they were a QB away from being much better as well. The 8th pick might be enough to land that QB and if it ends up being Jayden Daniels, this place is going to be a mess for a few years. They also have quite a bit of cap room for the next few seasons and could make a lot of changes quickly. This isn't something we should welcome.

I would not be surprised to see them make a stab at moving up for Williams or Maye. Or maybe trying to sign Cousins.

Really not something to worry about. A DA led team shut out Belichick just 3 months ago. He might be able to coach a defense still but he doesn’t have a clue on offense without Brady and the Falcons have no QB.

Which now begs the question, "Does he admire Jayden Daniels enough to be his new starting quarterback?"
