Haener starts vs Commanders: 1 INT, 5 punts ; Rattler replaced Haener in 2H: led to 19 points (5 Viewers)

I disagree. Haener came in when the game was already decided and didn't face the same thing that Rattler did. And I'm not saying Rattler is better either. I don't actually know. But I know the O Line was an absolute mess when Rattler was playing and Haener is getting the advantage of what the coaches deemed the starters to begin the year. Rattler DID have Shaheed and Haener won't. But Olave went out almost immediately when Rattler was playing.
Olave has been out a lot, he's brittle.

I know he's our best WR, but he shouldn't be playing this game anymore. He should take the money he's made and live a long healthy life.
He's still on a rook deal, which is a lot for most people. However, I doubt he will throw the towel this early.

All I know is that regardless of how Haener performs, the Rattler supporter’s will have their mental gymnastics to say he is the future and so will the Haener supporters… the two opposing sides are entrenched against one another.
What about those of us who are convinced BOTH are career backups?

He's had 5 concussions going back to college. He might not quit yet, but he should. Can't get a replacement brain when you're old.
I agree, but most of these guys are wired differently. Not to mention, kids under 30 think they're invincible.

Sad because all I want to see is good QB play and don’t care which one breaks out, just want one of them to show out.

I honestly feel we have a better shot with Haener. Even when Rattler had time to throw he still looked shakey which is understandable considering he's a rookie.

We need Kubiak to step it up for this game. From everything I've seen, Haener has, like most inexperienced QB's, zero chance of putting together a respectable showing, and this will be a test of managing the suck. I agree with not calling Rattler's number, but only for the first half. Haener is going to get old quick, so we may as well see a guy run for a couple of first downs. before he blows it. Whoever let two newbies back up our QB on our roster committed franchise malpractice.

Ridiculous, SR had Olave , Shaheed and Taysom. JH has MVS a guy we got off the street a few wks ago. SR was missing McCoy and Ruiz. Plus SR faced the then 3-3 Broncos the then 3-2 Bucs and the 4-3 Chargers not the 8-5 Wash. team
I’m trying to interpret this post. Specifically the ‘then’ Broncos, Chargers, and Bucs.

It’s mid-December and those are 3 playoff teams if the dance started today. Were they not playoff worthy teams when we faced them?

If we can't protect the QB, which includes getting the run going. We'll end up seeing both QBs anyway. I'm hoping last week was simply rust for the OLine finally being all back together. If they can improve we'll at least have a chance. I'm not yet convinced. Probably gonna need another blocked FG.
