How will the Saints disappoint us this season?

Can you come up with a more depressing topic for the offseason? The best part about the offseason is that you can be 'positive' not 'negative'. If you're going to start off negative, why bother at all?

I found the thread quite entertaining, TBH. But then, I'm also a Phillies fan-- and they find the most creative ways to lose I have ever witnessed.

I don't recall the 1983 game, but that scenario is mind boggling. :eek3:

Addendum: mere hours after typing this post, the Phillies lose 12-4 after leading 4-2 going into the 8th inning. :jpshakehead:

Only way I'm feeling disappointed this year is if we go up 59-0 in the Superbowl and miss the extra point with 3:28 seconds left on the clock.
Yeah I'm reaching far this year.

Season hasn't even started yet and the OP is expecting to be disappointed. Only one team holds the trophy at the end of the year and if your a true fan of Football let alone the Saints you enjoy watching the game and rooting for the players...if your only a fan if their winning or if they win the Superbowl just unsubscribe from this forum.

Your the type of poster who creates 15 threads after a loss but go silent after a win.

My expectations are always at 0. It's hard to disappoint me.

Especially after four years of crushing playoff disappointment. It's whatever.

I voted for "Other" because I don't know.
If Hill wins the QB I think we hover to average to below average. Winston wins the starting QB then we could go either way, average to very good. However, all of this is dependent on the next man up stepping up on defense. Heck, even on the offensive side of the ball, we need guys to step up as well.

It is literally even money o a losing, average and winning season. It is definite winning scenario for the front office and coaching staff. If we lose, it is because of the loss of Brees and salary cap issues and if we win, they would all be touted as geniuses.

Be salty all y'all want. You know, I know, everyone knows - the Saints will let us down again. In a way, it's familiar and comforting.

The Saints losing is like our second home. Our home away from home. A comfortable pair of shoes. An old but reliable vehicle. That friend who always answers the phone.

Facing brady TWICE and allowing the pile of fecal matter to walk off the field. Each play he's on the field, I silently hope they'll have to pick him up with a mop.

Such is my level of dislike for him.

Either that or pulling off the trade for the prima donna from Wisconsin. THAT guy in black and gold? I couldn't watch till his time in New Orleans was over.

I hope someone makes a note to bump this thread after Lombardi Gras 2022. 🤔

:gosaints:
If there's a Lombardi Gras 2022, I'll donate $150 to Saints Report.

We need a fundraiser style sticky thread so all the believers can demonstrate exactly how confident they are in the Jaysom Hinston led New Orleans Saints.

Quote me for posterity (and proof).
