That's not a coaching thing. That's a just plain stupid play thing. Everyone who has ever returned punts knows they shouldn't be anywhere near the ball inside their own 5.

Allen too nice. Players don’t fear him. He has their back when they screw up instead of coaching the crap out of them. If Adebo feared his coach he wouldn’t take so many penalties but do we ever read about Allen getting on a player, No.

You think he did that because Allen is too nice? OK then.

These players are grown arse men. They don't need to be babysat. They need leadership. Now is Allen that leader? I'm not convinced.

Has nothing to do with anyone fearing anything and more to do with practice and teaching.

And I'm pretty sure Shaheed won't try that again regardless.

I think it depends on how close/out of the division the Saints are.

My gut says no....the Saints just don't operate that way. However lets just explore the idea and see where it leads us.

Most teams that are firing there HC are likely already not really in playoff contention. If you belive that the Saints are a good team and that coaching is holding them back and that there is someone in the building who can light a fire under them, then maybe it's worth a shot.

I also wonder how quickly DA could lose the locker. There was talk last year that it was getting close to falling apart. Would a 2-4 start be enough to cause the players to jump ship?

I wish. Even if we got blown out next 3 games Loomis would wait till the end of the year.

Allen’s not going anywhere. Not anytime soon. There’s still a lot of football to be played so we’ll see.

No and nor should he be. But no playoffs this year means he must go. I’m worried injuries will give him a mulligan to keep from having to pay him and a new coach. Not sure Mickey and Mrs B can fire their friend. We’ll see.
