Hypothetical: If we're 2-4 and lose to Denver on national TV, is DA fired? (1 Viewer)

DA is going nowhere. At least for now.

It makes no sense to fire a coach mid-season in the NFL. All it does is satiate the blood lust some fans have for DA's head.

Changing coaches isn't going to turn this team into a playoff team this year if they aren't already and all you might accomplish is getting worse draft picks. Let him play out the season and then go from there.

Luck Loo isn't firing his reclamation project mid-season. We will finish somewhere in the 7-9 win range as always. Not bad and not good.

Chances are if we lose to KC we're coming out firing against TB. How has TB's defense fared against the Shanahan system?

Gayle is too much of a sweetheart to do anything like that

Curious to see everyone's opinion, I know that every team deals with injuries, but this team is playing undisciplined football. If Shaheed doesn't try to make a hero play on the punt return, we win that game.
Man, it would be a great day if that happened (minus the sting of losing to Payton).

He'll be the coach next year even if we do not make the playoffs this year. I think the only way he gets fired is if we have the #1 or 2 pick next year. That ain't going to happen. So y'all might as well get use to it. I'll buy shots next year at the Alibi if I'm wrong

This team has been well coached and prepared. The only game where you can maybe make the claim they were out coached was the Eagles game. Then. again, a stronger argument may be that they were simply out played that day. The 2-2 record isn't my concern, it's the injuries and depth issues we have at some positions. The staff and team have been hamstrung by the front office, the GM in particular.
