I want no part of Aaron Glenn as a HC (1 Viewer)

Glenn might be lucky to keep a DC position after this. Might give up a 50 burger.

We are tossing around 'generational' way to easily these days with guys like Daniels. But you cant give up 45+ at home in the playoffs and expect to walk into a HC position. Especially when this league is offense driven.

Biggest winner today is Joe Brady. Lets see how his offense looks tomorrow.

This Detroit man to man defense is the Dennis Allen defense. Lions DC was Allen’s DB coach with Saints. You have to have great man to man DBs. Not many teams do. And Saints are seriously considering this DC. I want no part of him.
Funny how one game can make the entire board shift... let's get that coach who's never lost instead! Wait...

Exactly - This aint "one game"

This is a home playoff game as the number one seed against a (very talented but) rookie QB... You're a SB favorite that won a division that sent 3 teams to the playoffs.

And they may 50 burger you...

There's red flags... and then there's this.

You’re already at a disadvantage with a defensive head coach because you’re going to lose any good OC within 2 years at the most.

We shouldn’t be hiring one who won’t even call plays and whose defense has been stomped over far too many times in his career.

I dont feel that Glenn was the favorite around here before this. So theres no 'entire board shift'. We need to go offense. This game is proof. You have to score, a lot. And having a HC thats an OC, keeps your offense growing over multiple years instead of losing your OC to a HC position every 2-3.

Doesn't he want the Jets job anyway?

I doubt he gets a HC position after this. Maybe in 26. Jets are probably speed dialing Rex Ryan and Rich Kotite.

When your team scores 31 in the playoffs, at home, an you lose by 14........youre DC will be back if you want him. He aint leaving for a HC job.

If we’re going to take a coordinator from this game it should be Kingsbury. Stay MILES away from Glenn. He would be an extraordinarily hard sell to fans at this point.

I find it interesting that you say that because Dann Quinn, the guy whose team is about to head to the NFC Championship game with a rookie QB, is also the HC that blew a 28-3 lead in the Super Bowl. That "ain't one game" and yet it was one game and he's clearly still a very good head coach despite having a horrible game on the biggest stage and in the biggest game of his career.

Is blowing a 28-3 lead in the Super Bowl a red flag?

He had Matt Ryan... Hear say... I object.... Irrelevant.... I move to dismiss.

He had some growing to do, and he clearly did it. Let off the gas in that superbowl against Tom Brady. Tonight with a 17 point lead he was still going for it on 4th and 2 in the 4th qtr.
