Inflation here? gas/grocery prices just continue to climb (5 Viewers)

I like Rocket Money. It’s very user friendly, and its budgeting tools make life very convenient.

The thing that does it for me though is they will identify your reoccurring bills (phone, internet, etc.) and negotiate on your behalf to lower the bill. They obviously aren’t doing this out of the goodness of their own heart (I think they charge 25% of the reduction, so for a $100 reduction they are paid $25).

I have nothing negative to say about the app other than at the end of the day you are paying a small fee for all the bells and whistles, and it’s not Mint (RIP Mint).
I KNEW it! It's a PROFIT deal! :hm:

Only if they come with those little dainty sock suspenders.
Can you only buy those things online? I have always wanted a pair ever since I saw Samantha Baker’s grandfather wearing them in Sixteen Candles. They seem so convenient, especially when your the elastic in your socks wear thin.

Maybe we start a “Little Dainty Sock Suspenders Club”?

it does acknowledge that corporate profits account for around 40% - but yeah, whats the other 60%?

Id be willing to bet that the answer is quite convoluted and the author doesnt really feel like diving into and explaining to readers because that article would be 10,000 words and boring and gibberish to many.

Corporate profits are complicated, but it's essentially earnings net of expenses. It's very easy to increase expenses to reduce real profits while margins can increase.

i am really surprised gas prices are going down right before a heavy traveled holiday, it usually goes up. i paid $2.46 in BR today.
