[Instagram clickbait post with no @ source] on why the Saints HC job is very unwanted currently. [mod edit] (5 Viewers)

Wouldn’t expect it ends with Moore flying back, anyway, which would negate the whole point of them traveling to him. Likely won’t be much to sleuth from the visit until an official announcement is made one way or the other.
Yeah, the only way we’ll know for sure is if someone else is hired.

If not, you’d imagine he’d be a pretty good bet if the announcement waits until after the SB

Based on what? Payton specifically mentioned her being a weak owner when he went to Denver.
Lol, what? That absolutely did not happen.

He simply mentioned that the Broncos owners had more clout behind their name. Of course they do. Walton is the richest owner in the NFL and the second richest owner of ALL professional sport teams.

Uncoverednfl is not a reputable source of NFL news. The instagram account has a history of posting hyperbole shock content to farm Instagram traffic which is the sole purpose of that post by getting 10k likes and a reshare on SR. It’s feeding into what people may want to hear to validate individual opinions and gain followers to pass off the account as reputable. Its also posting inflammatory content to promote betting picks packages which is in every one of their instagram posts.
That’s fair, I didn’t even notice the betting nonsense.

Yeah, which is why this CAN still be an attractive job. It just needs to be sold as a fixer-upper that will be treated as such by the higher-ups.

The idea of establishing your own culture and foundation without the immediate pressure to win can be attractive to the right candidates. Like SP at the time.
Well we were not Sean’s first option, if it was “that attractive” to him he wouldn’t have been thinking about GB the whole time he interviewed here and then threw his phone when McCarthy got the job in GB. However he wasn’t our first choice at the time either, McCarthy was.

It worked out wonderfully for both.

My gosh can the Saints just hire someone so these ridiculous posts can finally end? I’m sure after Katrina the Saints were probably the least attractive coaching job in any sports but look how that played out. The only negative comments seem to be coming from the locals……sad I must say.

Bro…this place is becoming worst than Twitter. Feel like I’m arguing with Elon’s troll bots. They never quit.

I think we’re viewed a bit differently now than before the 2006 season.

Eh, bunch of weak front runner dudes not wanting to take on a challenge. If they don't want the job, fork'em.
That’s what I say. I’m tired of hearing the hate and whining. A real man wouldn’t even sweat these challenges. Becaue he’d feel that he’s the difference. Who cares about a bunch of 30 year old cowards that want a perfect situation. News flash, if this was a perfect situation the job wouldn’t be open. Bring on a MM or Gruden type.

Is this peer pressure? "You wimps take the damn job, who cares about things like a cap, FO, or QB. Do these comments actually work on adults?

McCarthy is good pick but Gruden is a hack he was always overrated.
