Ironman 3 (Extremis) (2 Viewers)

She is so hawt in these movies....:9:

Oh most definitely. LOL. :mwink:

Man, I can't tell you guys how many times I was asked "Where's Pepper?" at the games this year in the IM costume. LOL. I lost count after the Chiefs' game. :hihi:

It looks like Caps original helmet from WW2. I think Mandarin will have some connection to the super soldier program.

Perhaps so, I see what you mean now. Good call sir. :9:

Easy peasy. Hulk gets out of control at some point in Avengers 2, going off mission or causing some serious damage. The World Council (the shadowy figures that bossed Fury around) decide Hulk is too dangerous to stay so they send him away, perhaps with Fury's knowledge/help. If Thanos is the villain, the team may end up in space. Fury could ditch him while they're out there and lie about it to the rest. Planet Hulk happens, then he comes back for the council.

Want to make extra sure Hulk feels betrayed? Have Fury ask Tony to design a plan to get rid of Hulk as a fail-safe in case he ever got out of control, then have Fury use the plan behind Tony's back. Banner/Tony would see Stark tech and think everyone else knew.
I've been reading rumors about Marvel using the Planet Hulk story in the movies. Have a link... Marvel Plans 'Planet Hulk' Movie & 'World War Hulk' for 'Avengers 3'? | FirstShowing.net

If you look closely, the helmet says 'UN' on the front. I don't doubt the super soldier connection will be there, though, considering the tattoo on the back of his neck in the trailer.

I do wonder, though, if the dragon behind him is just a generic oriental dragon decoration or a stealth Fin Fang Foom reference.

Does that say UN? I thought it was remnants of the star on the front of the helmet he was wearing on his first real mission when he rescued Bucky. I could be wrong though. It's hard to tell.

Well if they end up doing World War Hulk then they are going to need a lot more then the Avengers to stop him......so does that mean we are going to see a lot of cameos of other super heroes?

One thing I thought would have been cool in the Avengers was during the giant battle we would have seen other Super Heroes helping out in the background turning back a alien invasion.....like seeing the fantastic four in the distance or Spider-man, etc....just digitally put in the movie way out in the distance but you could tell who it was.

So are we going to see an expanded Avengers roster by Avengers 3 and possible World War Hulk? That would be a massive payroll and budget plus getting all of their characters in house from Sony, Fox, etc. I mean Wolverine is an Avenger. Spider-Man is an Avenger. On and on....it would be awesome though, but not going to happen. I do think though Marvel would love to do crossover cameos though.

LOL a movie I would love to be seen made is Marvel Zombies.

They're almost certainly going to expand the Avengers roster for the sequel (if nothing else we're getting Falcon in Captain America: The Winter Soldier). And they'll probably incorporate the Guardians of the Galaxy somehow.

Fun idea, but one of the highlights was that guys like Sentry, Ghost Rider, Black Bolt, and Doctor Strange were there to participate. There'd better be a load more movies on the way then, cuz Hulk has to do more than just fight Thor again. He's already kinda done that.

I guess they could have Wolverine and the X-Men join in. But a Planet Hulk like even would be friggin' awesome.

A lot of people are saying that the armor at the end was the Hulk Buster armor.

I loved the new trailer.

Interesting - and disturbing - interview quote from the director:

When the Mandarin makes his big screen launch in Iron Man 3, he’ll be missing one—make that ten—important weapons: his rings. While early shots of Ben Kingsley’s portrayal of the Mandarin have shown his hands cluttered with jewelry, director Shane Black stressed during an early press day for the film that the rings are no longer imbued with individual superpowers like flames, ice, mental control, disintegration, and matter-rearranging.

In fact, the rings no longer have special powers at all—and Black knows that fans might not be happy.

"I hate to break it to you, but he’s not from space in this. The rings are rings. They’re showmanship, they’re accoutrements. They’re paraphernalia of warfare that he sort of drapes himself with..."

Since when was the Mandarin ever from space? The rings were, but not him. Why I find this odd and disturbing is that I assumed the Mandarin and his rings were a precursor to Thanos since he should be seeking the rings of power now since the Cosmic Cube (in its film adaptation) has been removed from his grasp. Since that apparently isn't the case, what will Thanos use to form the infinity gauntlet and "court death"?
