New trailer was b.s. nothing new. Was an extended look and the same footage.

A lot of people are saying that the armor at the end was the Hulk Buster armor.

Interesting - and disturbing - interview quote from the director:

When the Mandarin makes his big screen launch in Iron Man 3, he’ll be missing one—make that ten—important weapons: his rings. While early shots of Ben Kingsley’s portrayal of the Mandarin have shown his hands cluttered with jewelry, director Shane Black stressed during an early press day for the film that the rings are no longer imbued with individual superpowers like flames, ice, mental control, disintegration, and matter-rearranging.

In fact, the rings no longer have special powers at all—and Black knows that fans might not be happy.

"I hate to break it to you, but he’s not from space in this. The rings are rings. They’re showmanship, they’re accoutrements. They’re paraphernalia of warfare that he sort of drapes himself with..."

Since when was the Mandarin ever from space? The rings were, but not him. Why I find this odd and disturbing is that I assumed the Mandarin and his rings were a precursor to Thanos since he should be seeking the rings of power now since the Cosmic Cube (in its film adaptation) has been removed from his grasp. Since that apparently isn't the case, what will Thanos use to form the infinity gauntlet and "court death"?

That Mark 38 "heavy lifting" definitely looks like Hulk-buster armour (or at least a pre-cursor to it). Cool find, MLU!

But why is it pre-hunched over to ruin one's lower back?

I'm pumped for IM3 but equally (or maybe more so) for The Wolverine. The new International trailer that came out today looked phenomenal.

I'm looking forward to the next few years that will hopefully have all of the Marvel squeals, along with the DC universe. I've read a lot of rumors and curious to see if Nolan/Bale will do the Superfriends thing or not.

This spoiler was leaked about a week ago. That may be why this spoiler ended up in the new tv spot. The cat was already out of the bag.
