Ironman 3 (Extremis) (1 Viewer)

Just don't get super heroes movies. They all looked cheesy to me. Just a bunch of dude dress in costume and add in a bit of computerized graphics to make ton of $$$.

Batman
Xmen
Captain America

They all sux goats. No substance. Perfect for kids under 10 IMHO.

Goat suxing has its advantages. You're missing out.

Chics dig goatmilk breath, for example. Its an afrodeeziatic. :17:

By the way, my son and I will be front and center for this one.

Then why post in a thread about them? Why even read about them? Why do you care?

Because using the phrase 'sux goats' in a sentence just screams maturity.

I got to watch it in IMAX, it was the best Iron Man movie. I liked it alot, but not better than Avengers imo.

I saw this Tuesday night at a preview screening. Very very good movie. Probably the best of three in my opinion.

Once again, about half the crowd was gone before the additional scene aired.

You would think people would have already learned to stay put for the extra scenes at the end of these Marvel movies. :jpshakehead:

I'm going Sunday with my son, brother-in-law and nephew. Looking forward to it.

I can't wait, but I'm probably not going tomorrow. LOL. I'd rather catch the weekday price and and early time where there's not as many people there. :9:

Or I should go to the big premiere in the black and gold IM armor... :hihi:

I wasn't as impressed as a lot of others. Not a bad movie, I thought IM 2 was actually bad, but not on par with the first. I found the way they handled Mandarin to be one of the worst decisions in superhero movie history right behind adding nipples to Batmans costume. I'm shocked Marvel/Disney let them go that route with one of the better Marvel villains.

Ultimately I think Joss Whedon understands and handles the character better than anyone else. One of the things I like about Tony Stark is he's damaged but not in the way this movie presents him.

I do like that they showed a lot of Tony Stark action outside of the suit. That was good. I don't like that for the second movie in a row they show very little action in the suit until the climax. At least the climax in 2 was good. I found this climax lacked punch.

Overall I say see it as part of the Marvel Universe of movies. If it were a standalone film I'd probably say you could skip it.

The fight with Whiplash at the end of Iron Man 2 lasted less than 60 seconds. What kind of boss fight is that?

I was disappointed in the movie. Now I had sky high expectations, and there was nothing wrong with the movie, it's just that it didn't reach my expectations. Now I will say that this movie is really funny. 5-10 different scenes that were funny. The action was great. And the after credits scene was funny and great too. I'm going to see it again this Tuesday and I may wind up liking it more. Every time I watch Iron Man 2 I like it more and more, so I'm thinking the same will be true for part 3.

I'm kinda bummed that our baby sitter fell through tonight. I might have to wait until Sunday or Monday to see it..

But I do get to see StarTrek a day before its release (^_^)

I don't know. Just got home from watching it and maybe it's me. I'm normally in an awesome mood, but today I just wasn't. Normally I can do no wrong. My farts smell like pot pourri, and when I whistle, golden dragons come hither. Not today.

The movie had its moments, but I walked away a bit disappointed; however, since I can't put my finger on it, I'll just take the blame and say I rolled out of bed less than awesome this morning. Plus the crowd was lame - I might see it again next weekend for better results.
