Really? Come on man, barely a punch landed.

Palestinian Guy in the truck tried to burn an Israeli flag, which led to the altercation.

Tulane is about to join Harvard, Penn et al in having their alumni start pulling their support. Crazy to me seeing this sort of stuff on Freret St.

(FWIW I doubt Tulane is 40% Jewish but it’s a sizeable percentage)

I've been involved in brawls outside The Boot ten times that size and way more violent. Any night at the old AT 2's looks like a full on riot compared to that video.

I also noticed the guy in the back of the truck was wearing a hood. Why doesn't he want anyone to know his identity?

For sure. And there will almost certainly be an armed robbery, carjacking or murder within a few miles of that spot soon.

Still, seeing a dude in a keffiyah trying to light an Israeli flag in front of the law school is pretty jarring.

That is what Hamas is counting on, the ugliness of war to recruit because they're gonna continue to film/post propaganda after some retaliation in a tight area which will very obviously kill innocents. Hamas loves hiding stuff in population centers, using the innocent as human shields as tools to refill their ranks.

Which is why this is never gonna end, its a bottomless money pit and human tragedy over there and it will ALWAYS be that way.

Not really a perfect answer.

Hamas isn't holding the people in Gaza hostage. Many have no means to relocate. There isn't transportation or fuel.

The idea that the people remaining in Gaza are there because Hamas is forcing them to stay is just complete nonsense.

Kirby is counting on people not watching any media that is telling the story from inside Gaza.
