Karen Memes (2 Viewers)

25 years ago my wife got 2 tickets for going through a yellow light.
one for failure to yield at a yellow light and running a red light.
she went to court over it, and they threw out the more expensive running the red light.
fast forward 5 years, she comes to a light turning yellow and a cop is sitting at the intersection so she makes sure she stops ( not slam on brakes). the car behind her slammed into the back of her because he assumed she was goyne go through it. the cop saw the whole thing, even through the guy tried to say she slammed on the brakes last second but the cop was like, i saw the whole thing dude she stopped slowly, you never hit your brakes at all being 3 car lengths back..
my wife was like i probably would have gone through it had she not gotten a ticket before..

I’m 99% sure I’m never, EVER the last person through an intersection
(I’m not a yellow light runner at all even though my teen abuses me for it), but even when I push my luck trying to slip through a yellow, there’s always 2-3 more behind me

Funny something actually happened to us yesterday involving a restaurant hostess.
Even if you know that you are getting treated differently just because of your skin color?
Things that most white forks don’t have to deal with but for others, we have to deal with a whole lot. Very infuriating and sometimes embarrassing.

Well I think the point of the meme is the customer service person is not the source of why the customer is upset- so don’t take your anger out of the innocent worker

If the worker is the source of the upset…go for it

I might be Part-Karen. I think Lemonade Stands are a good way for kids to get an introduction to earning money and just having fun but in my old neighborhood there was a family that lived in the house by the main entrance and their kids would set up a Stand on occasion. I remember coming home from work one afternoon and the sun was just starting to set. As I pull into the neighborhood this kid jumps out of the bushes in the middle of the road to get me stop. I almost hit the kid. I jumped out of my truck to see if he was ok and he asks if I wanted to buy some lemonade. Still shaking because I thought that I hit the kid I tell him no thank you and then I hear "come on, it is for a kid". I turn around and the kids Mother is sitting on her fat arse in a chair and watched the entire encounter.

I gave her a good old fashioned death stare and then turned to the kid and told him to go play in his yard because there was a lot of traffic coming into the neighborhood at this time and it is hard to see him got in my truck and went home. Later that night my wife shows me a rant on the Neighborhood Facebook group about the "cheap butt crevasse and belittled her child". I contacted the HOA and got that gaggle of karen's all riled up and now you can't have Lemonade Stands in that neighborhood any more. I moved out 5 months later.

This is exactly why all managers fear Karen’s and their crazy rage
=================
A Missouri woman flew into a rage after allegedly getting shorted on a fast-food order, then got behind the wheel of her car and ran down the store manager when she didn’t get her dipping sauce, police say.

The unnerving incident took place at a Jack in the Box restaurant in the city’s Central West End neighborhood, according to a probable cause affidavit filed in St. Louis Circuit Court.

Local Fox affiliate KTVI first reported the case.

On July 16, the affidavit says, Talanye L Carter, 41, showed up and “complained about a missing single chicken strip from the order she received from the restaurant the previous Saturday evening.”

In response, the manager, whose name is redacted in the affidavit, replaced the missing strip, the affidavit goes on.

“However, [Carter] became unhappy with the lack of ranch dressing provided and then spit in [the manager’s] face,” it states.

The manager then followed Carter out to the parking lot to try and get her license plate number, which set Carter off anew, according to the affidavit.

After knocking the manager with her shoulder, Carter entered her vehicle, threw it into reverse, and accelerated backward, “striking [the manager’s] left foot and ankle and throwing her to the ground,” according to the affidavit.

She then fled the scene and was arrested the next day. The manager’s ankle “was visible [sic] swollen and bruised as a result of being ran [sic] over by [Carter’s] vehicle,” the affidavit states.…..

A California woman whose Stage 4 cancer had been in remission claims the disease returned following a spat with a flight attendant over her emotional support animal.

In a federal lawsuit obtained by The Independent, 51-year-old Oksana Kiritchenko says her health took a discomfiting turn for the worse after she and her elderly husband were subjected to “an unexplainable level of cruel humiliation and ridicule” by a JetBlue crewmember who refused to let Pier, a 23-pound french bulldog, sit with them in first class.

The dust-up forced the plane to turn around and return to the terminal, where the mortified Kiritchenkos were removed from the aircraft, according to the complaint.…….
