Yes, though I would argue that both the words rabid and chihuahua make the use of ill-tempered redundant.
NoI need to watch it again but was the blurred out "orc leader" the High Elf that sent our hero on her voyage to Elf Valhalla?

Supposedly Adar is a new character created for the show and is an Elf that got tortured or something to Sauron's will.
I watched the meteor man parts again, and had headphones on. At certain points, there is some evil-sounding whispering in the air, kind of influencing his actions or something. I couldn't make out what the words were saying though
I was trying to be charitable.Yes, basically just a few years. Sauron was defeated twice in the Second Age - once by the Elves and Numenoreans soon after forging the rings and then again at the very end by Isildur. These two events are ~1500 years apart as you have said.
But they already have mentioned that Sauron had been defeated, but not elminated and Galadriel was scouring ME for any evidendence of his return. So they are moving the forging of the rings until after the first defeat.
I wouldn't call if fan-fic, which is to me either filling in gaps through side-stories, prequels and sequels that don't conflict with anything in canon. Like let's say you had a little side story about what Luke Skywalker did on Tatooine before meeting Obi Wan Kenobi., or something in between ROTJ and TFA - like what they're doing with The Mandalorian and baby Yoda. Its not even a retcon, which is still a somewhat plausible reinterpretation of past events.
What they're doing is is actively contradicting canon. Basically rewriting.
So do you think it is Gandalf, Sauron, or somebody else? Gandalf would befriend harfoots, but would not kill fireflies. Sauron would kill fireflies, but would not befriend harfoots. And either one would offend canon (especially Gandalf) although that clearly is not stopping them. Saruman? Bombadil?
To me, this show is the type of show that I want the first season to wrap up so I can re-watch again.I haven't picked this up yet, but I have a few days off and I'm looking for something to binge. I've heard about the Nerd Rage for Black Elves and that's not something I'm concerned about. If I can buy into talking dragons, I have no issues accepting mutiracial elves.
What's the SR.com consensus the story, prodution value, etc? You know, the **** that matters.
Yeh, and from the gist I get from Ep 3, they are about to kick it up a notch. To me, this show is the type of show that I want the first season to wrap up so I can re-watch again.
Does canon matter to you? Like, at all.I haven't picked this up yet, but I have a few days off and I'm looking for something to binge. I don’t understand this takeDoes canon matter to you? Like, at all.
If so, spare your blood pressure.
If you don't care, it's very pretty, worth a few hours and orders of magnitude better than Wheel of Time.
