I haven’t been home to even try manDid you find it? Hulu took it down except for the last season.
i think it's on Freevee, if you don't mind commercialsI haven’t been home to even try man
Well this was probably the 2nd to last show you should have watchedAs a heads up I dispose shows that have so much flashback into the past. This may be my issue. I like things in order. Beginning to end.
I was a big Lostpedia headTheir website “thefuselage” was awesome….that was the place to be to discuss theories on just what was going on. It’s a shame that site is gone now. It would be fun to go back and read all the ideas again.
Please do not dispose Memento or Reservoir Dogs.As a heads up I dispose shows that have so much flashback into the past. This may be my issue. I like things in order. Beginning to end.
For whatever reason I usually feel honor bound to contextualize this narrativePlease do not dispose Memento or Reservoir Dogs.
Personally, I dispose shows that promise a big payoff and do not deliver. Lost is the poster child of that genre. I dispose the hell out of it.
Except, Evangeline Lilly ca. 2004 wearing shorts - I do not dispose that.
Like the worst of GoT is like an average Witcher episode, a bad Lost episode would be premium TWDI’ve said it before and I’ll say it again
Season One of Lost is one of the greatest TV seasons of all time
And Benjamin Linus was a great character
But the show definitely lost (ha!) its way. Last couple seasons were rough and that finale
The only worthwhile "arcs" in that show were on Evangeline Lilly and that Korean lady. For whatever reason I usually feel honor bound to contextualize this narrative
The show’s creators envisioned something like a 60 episode story
It was ABC that kept pushing more shows (and this was at a time where going against a network was career suicide)
Creators finally put their foot down saying s6 was it
So writers strike + padding/adding a lot of story + Mr Eko leaving forcing writers to give his intended arc to Locke they just had to figure out how to land the plane ()
That being said - GoT is the prime example of an all time great show crashing to earth
Lost was an alltime great show that limped over the finish line
121 episodes - only a handful of those are tedious
That’s an incredible hit rate.
Because of its popularity and that it was one of the first internet discussion shows, Lost gets a lot of the ‘narrative’ hot takes that’s a staple of so much current content (disney umbrella shows in particular)
