lol i see what you did there. im glad i hearted that post. Callaway as i posted on this thread earlier reminds me of Colston, a big physical receiver with good hands and decent speed. Hopefully that is what Payton got to see during those practices. If so that is probably why Fowler was released.

Must be pretty good to beat out both Fowler and Butler who were both said to be making big plays on the regular.

Austin Carr is also a Brees favorite.


Hope he beats out TQS too for playing time.

Callaway has multiple uses.
Sean loves the versatility in his players.
He's a gunner, returner, wide out, and can block.
One trick ponies will have a hard time making covid 19 rosters

I keep hearing he did well in special teams. Does that mean returns, blocking or tackling. People might not like preseason games but it gives a chance to see players were not familiar with perform

Really liked the guy, all he did was catch and YAC. So glad they saw enough in practices. I was thinking maybe in the lower rounds. With consistent QB play he can emerge.

No need to quote a lot of the posts in this thread, but what people saw and what the coaches saw in Callaway was evident in his reception yesterday.

He has the look of a playmaker waiting to emerge. After his catch he turned up and was trying to break tackles to get that ball to the endzone. As he develops and gets more opportunities he should get better and will be fun to watch.

I think Payton likes this guys big play ability, he did a good job with his intermediate routes but those plays down the field is what I think Payton cant wait to exploit.
