I really wanted Nolan Smith. Hopefully the Saints are smarter than me.

They are obviously smarter than all of us, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they will be right. We shall see.

I am concerned about the injury aspect given our team’s history in that area, but hopefully he’s past that and can make an impact.

The dude already has a history of injury and after the last 2 years I thought they would stay away from that. Disappointed that they took him instead of Nolan Smith. Hope he stays healthy. If he does, he can be an absolute beast.

Little sis fought cancer and lost which caused him some lost time and a kidney infection (a non-football **illness**). The singular injury was a serious one - an ACL. It took him awhile to come back to normal.

The question is not that he is injury plagued, but how close to 100% he is and will the ACL cause future problems. That remains to be seen.

He tore his ACL two years ago.

This year’s “injury” was a kidney infection, which followed his younger sister dying of cancer.

I’m holding out hope we move up from 40 to get one of those two that we left on the board.

I'm thinking that's the plan. The picked the greatest need first, feeling they could slide up to close to 32 and pick up the guy they missed. That would be pretty good.

I think he is a JAG. Just another guy. No production. I see him having a solomon thomas type of career. He can run in a straight line a linear athlete but that aint gonna help him on the interior. Hope im wrong but i think we messed this up

You have got to be kidding, he has elite agility for a DT

People quickly forget how bad our DTs were last season. We were getting gashed left and right and could not get any pressure up the middle all season long. I give the staff credit for identifying the issue and overhauling the position. I expect DT to be a strength this upcoming season.
