You keep forgetting to mention the shoulder surgery. Also, dude had like 50 tackles in 3 years.

He's a DT.
I think it has to do with the fact that we keep drafting athletic freaks with injury history that turns into fruition once they play for us
Lattimore had reoccurring hamstring issues all through his OSU career and even re-injured it at the Combine during his 40 but he’s been fairly healthy and a beast since. Yes we’ve had injury struggles but when they pay off they pay off MASSIVELY

I like the pick if his production in college is translated into the pros. They say that he's the next best Defensive Tackle after Jaylen Carter, which is good. My first choice was Myles Murphy. Thanks Bengals for ##ss!ng me off!!

Bresee is a Jalen Carter level talent that had a rough college career but was still the best talent on that Clemson team.

Yall worried about injuries. He had an ACL. The rest were a kidney infection and a death in the family. Those aren't injury concerns.
Forgetting the shoulder?

Apparently, he had shoulder surgery also. Not singular.

Not really.

The shoulder work was a simple cleanup that was done due him already being out with his ACL. Timing. He missed zero games due to the shoulder cleanup. That's the point.

"Bresee suffered a torn ACL in the third quarter of Saturday’s 27-21 double OT loss at NC State.

Swinney added that they will do surgery on his shoulder as well to "clean up" that area that was injured earlier this season."

Injuries to lower body and upper body don’t look good for playing time. It was still an injury. He was playing injured from the shoulder surgery before the ACL. I am cheering the young man on now but let’s be real

Injury issues. When healthy he is a monster, but we have seen that song and dance before. I am crossing my fingers he stays healthy. At least it was a position of need.

And had shoulder surgery apparently.

Football fans: I don't want anyone with an injury history.

Baseball fans: Please draft the pitcher who already had TJS and got it out of the way.
See post #81 for more deets on the shoulder cleanup for which he missed zero games. Not serious surgery, but timing to do simple cleanup during his ACL recovery.

Many, many pros do this kind of thing during the off-season and still play during the season.
