Mickey Loomis’ End Of Year Press Conference (1 Viewer)

His whole demeanor is condescending as can be. Same as he’s been for this whole season.m

*Maybe he’s always been that way, I don’t usually watch or listen to press conferences.
Yep. I think he’s always been arrogant but it’s become more apparent and almost insulting because of his ridiculous defenses of Allen.

Nothing wrong with arrogance but when you allow it to impact your decision making (because you think you’re too clever to be wrong) then that’s an issue.

I don't recall him being like that before. He is older now and doesn't have a credible mouthpiece anymore, like Payton was, so he has to be the guy. I really don't think he likes it.

That makes sense, but the fact that its still an excuse in 2024 is not good.
Being 2024 doesn't change that something happened. It's like saying that's true but I don't care.

And what exactly are we to be pleased about? Do tell!
She’s one of my favorite posters but yeah I’m not feeling it on this one. It all reeks of “let them eat cake” to me. From Mickey and the organization.

Is what it is tho and I’ll continue to be a fan till I die.

Could very well be as simple as that.

AND if he had taken over for a coach that had gotten fired, like most do, because the team was in the doldrums, but he took over a ready made roster.

What did he ready have made at WR, QB, TE, RB aside from Kamara, O-line? And some big losses on defense because of the cap. Payton gave DA maybe one of the worst rosters in the league on the offensive side of the ball.

Pete was a longtime worker for the organization. I'm sure he wasn't thrilled with having to end Pete's career with the organization in that fashion.
