Have you had real wasabi? In the US it's extremely rare. Most of the time it's a green dyed horseradish version.You misspelled wasabi.
It's easy to grow, but takes 24 months, likes wet well draining soil, needs shade, and temps below 80 to grow well. You can harvest the leaves and stems every 6-8 weeks and they make an excellent salad. The flavor of a fresh real wasabi is nothing like the substance you typically get with sushi.
I bought s rhizome and it was going well inside until the cats decided they liked the pot it was in for some reason.
