Mock Draft [Simulators] Compilation Thread - 2024 NFL Draft (1 Viewer)

Did any of you consider taking Jordan Travis in the 5th/6th? I know he’s coming off of a bad injury, but is he worth a look that late?

This is the after Championship Weekend games where the lines dominated the games and TEs where the stars of the show. I did what the team doesn't normally do and that was trade back for a couple extra picks in the 5th to stock up on lineman for depth and competition.

Doing these mock drafts, how many here want a trade back? All those players from 45 to 148 sucks watching them go off the board. Let's hope Colts, Jags, or Seattle or itching to trade up.... Curious what 5 prospects other than a need for this team or can't pass on? Personally Bowers is the only one for me, just don't see Ozune, Maye, CW, JD, or MHJR falling to 14th honestly doubt Bowers falls to 14th....

No trades and let the draft fall into place. Drafted with the following assumptions.
1. Switching to a Shanahan system let by KK.
2. MT is gone and need a physical X WR.
3. Addressed pass rush.
4. Whether or not AK is here in 2024, we need RBs for 2024+ with KM, added a physical homerun threat. Team needs speed at RB.
5. Fix the O-line. The team in the final 4 and SB had great O-line play. Most issues in the last couple years can be contributed to O-line play as the underlying issue affecting multiple areas of the game.
6. DA is a DB guy, added a S and CB that are playmakers, guys he can work with (soften the blow if Latt is traded).
7. We need a complete/everydown playmaking TE in a Shanahan offense.

Seems like when i did these mocks that the pass rushers were not on the board for long. I’m fine with taking a pass rusher in the first. If we’re going to trade Lattimore, we have to get to the quarterback to help out the secondary. We have solid starters on the line right now, but we could really use an athlete the caliber of Verse to round it out.

Trading back will be my personal indicator the Saints are actually changing the ways they do things as ML discussed in his end of year presser. Historically every move has been to trade up or remain in place.

This team has too many needs to trade up. By finding a trading partner looking to slide up, the Saints can get another second or third round pick, which is what I did in this simulation.

Granted, trading back is in need of a willing partner. It'll be a draft day decision that will be dependent on how the draft is playing out.

Trading back once to recoup another higher round pick:

No trades but I could expect trade ups in the lower rounds to 'go get our guy':

ESPN’s Matt Miller post senior bowl mock has the Saints drafting Bowers and Lagette with our first two picks. That’s pretty much your call too.

I really like that draft. I’m an LSU fan so getting Daniels would be amazing but I seriously doubt he drops that far. I like the NT Sweat. I’m also a Michigan fan so Keegan and McGregor are nice pickups. Mccaffery could be a steal in the later rounds.
Trey……my man…..you can’t be an LSU fan and a Michigan fan. That means you’re not an authentic fan of either. 😎🏈
