Saints fans still believe that the Saints job is the most desirable. Old roster, no long term young franchise QB, and the worst cap situation by FAR. If 9 jobs will be open, we’ll have no choice but to hire Rizzi. I’d prefer Gruden over Rizzi any day of the week. But the truth is, Gruden wants to go to Chicago. And that’s where he’ll go. However, IF ML could somehow lure him to NOLA, Saints fans should be ecstatic.

Agreed X 1000. It’s not that retreads don’t work Denver is of course doing nicely, it worked out pretty well for the Patriots, KC is doing nicely; it’s simply put … he just isn’t a great coach. We are in desperate need for youth this goes for the players as well as the coaches.

We need someone fresh and new and you don’t get that with a retread. Besides retreads don’t really work out all that well for the Saints.

I will give him these props the only time the Raiders have been relevant the last 30 years were during the Gruden years and Tampa after he was fired was irrelevant for over 10 years

The Saints simply cannot afford to hire a polarizing HC at this juncture, whether you feel he did anything "wrong" or not. Our franchise trajectory is in too precarious a position at this time.

I would be hugely disappointed if they hire Gruden, I want a young, fresh offensive minded coach, not a failed retread....
