Maybe. I'd either prefer a cast iron muffin pan or make it like a cake and then slice it. The shape is good but they're not identical!

It wasn't a mistake. Saint BigAl hurt my feels on the post that said Jiffy isn't real cornbread. (and it was a meh face, not a roger or a falcon)

I couldn't even sleep last night.

I had to make an appointment with my therapist.

The first tweak would be to replace oat milk with cream. There's no reason (unless you have a dairy allergy) to put that in there!

I am an Oat Milk fan. I drink it daily in my coffee but it does not belong in corn bread!!!

That's actually what I did (replaced with milk though not cream)

I will not rest until I make a cornbread worthy of being south of the mason dixon line from scratch.

I apologize if I hurt your feelings. My wife prefers Jiffy over homemade but she’s originally from NY City.. I grew up eating regular cornbread so that’s my preference. Cornbread and collard greens!

Thanks, I was strongly considering heavy cream instead of milk or buttermilk. This kind of seals that decision.

How about bourbon? Why not use bourbon instead of any other liquid?
