NFL Scouting Combine: Feb 27–Mar 2 (58 Viewers)

You're right, he's Ashton Jeanty. Before Barry Sanders, Saquon, Faulk, LT, there wasn't a Barry Sanders, Saquon, Faulk or LT. Thanks for stating the obvious there.

You know that I meant he's not that level of player. I don't understand why you guys feel the need to misrepresent what someone said and get so emotional when someone dares to question whether Jeanty is the perfect RB.

There's absolutely a reason he's not running the 40. He's probably a 4.6 guy (Mark Ingram speed). Which IMO does not matter and RB speed is pretty overrated but he's definitely not what I would consider "fast" for a RB.

The list of pro bowl level RBs under 5'9 with a 4.55-4.6 40 is not that long. I'd imagine it's maybe a few. Which again is fine because he's such an anomaly.

You just completely made that 4.6 number up and ran with it. Lol

The guy has wheels. Are you kidding me?

It's not emotion. You picked this stance to run with and have made excuse after excuse to stick to it no matter what facts have been presented. It's quite comical.

The Anti-Jeanty stance you've had the entire time. It's cool though, you're not the only one.

What is an "anti-Jeanty stance"? What does that mean? I already said if he's the BPA take him at #9. And he may well be BPA, but that doesn't mean he's going to be an elite NFL RB. I don't see how that's comical. So, please explain.

I think he likely runs a 4.55 to 4.6, but I could be wrong. If he runs 4.4 to 4.5, then I'm obviously wrong that he does have great speed, and maybe elite if it's closer to 4.4, to go with his vision, power, and contact balance.

I respect your opinion. The only thing I’m really finding fault with is claiming he is closer to Ingram in speed than to a lot of the other elite backs mentioned. @St. Geezy above showed that Jeanty clocked 21 mph 4 times. More than any other player in college football. I know we don’t have a 40 time but the point i think is that we don’t need one. Guy has enough speed to be a homerun threat.
