Saints Outside of Drew Brees who is your favorite all-time Saints player? (2 Viewers)

I always loved hearing what Charles Grant had to say. Inspirational dude.

“I know there’s a lot of people in this world who don’t like me, or hate me because of who I am and how hard I work,” Grant said. “But I pray for them all the time. I have no hate in my heart for people. I’m not a hateful person. A lot of people, when they look at me, they say. ‘Hey that’s an African-American man and he has plenty of money (he signed a seven-year $63 million deal with the Saints in April 2007).’ It ain’t all about that. At the end of the day, when we’re all dead and gone, that money is still going to be here.

“So what I’m saying is, ‘I love me some me.’ I love kids. I want kids to do the best in the world they can. The things that happened to me only made me a better person.”

Tough question. I've always been an Eric Martin and Dalton Hilliard guy.
I liked both of them too. I got the chance to meet both and they both were because of the airport. I was picking up my dad at the airport and he had been sitting next to Eric Martin on his flight. He didn’t know who he was but when they were getting off the plane some of their stuff got mixed up. My dad ended up with Eric’s discover card application and 4 pages from his playbook. We had Eric’s home phone on his application so I called him when we got home. He was more worried about the missing pages from his playbook than anything. So I agreed to meet him and give everything back. He asked me if I wanted anything in return and I told him but was excited to meet him. We met up at outside the dome because I was working near there at the time. I gave him his stuff back and he gave me a autographed football.
I had a flight from New Orleans to San Diego and for the flight between NOLA and Dallas I sat next to Dalton. He was a really nice guy with some really big thighs. He got my address and told me he would send me a autographed jersey. We parted ways and I though I’d never hear from him again. I was gone for two weeks and when I got home my wife had a package waiting for me and it was the jersey.
Sadly I lost both items during Katrina.

When I was a kid, it was Rueben Mayes. I have no idea why, I can't remember what about him struck me as cool, but he was to me. Now, I'd have to say Vilma, Colston or Cameron Jordan.

Way back, Ricky Jackson. After the Dome Patrol Saints went a lot of years with no linebacker getting his number called.

For a short time Bobby Herbert and Morten Anderson, till they played for the failcons.

Duece of course.

Pierre Thomas (still have his jersey, never wanted and wouldn't have taken for free a 25)

Tracey Porter for two years.

Current, Michael Thomas.
