hey brah. i saw vanilla ice play there back in the late 90s (maybe 2000?).. what's worse is that 'nilla was trying to be a heavy metal / rap band. it was terrible.

Ooh ... working in Metairie next week. Have to swing by and try them out.

Looking at Gus's menu online. Getting a strong Zaxby's vibe, except that Gus's sells whole pieces as well as tenders.

I always referred to it as Kenner's Key West. Senor Frog's was a close 2nd.
