Raiders HC Antonio Pierce liked IG post saying Davante Adams played his last down in Vegas (4 Viewers)

Yeah, with word out that the Raiders want rid of him and his contract, I think they would be lucky to get a 4th or 5th round pick and it will be hard to find a team that can or is willing to take his contract.
Imo anyone willing to give more than a 4th for a 32 (I think) year old receiver is bananas. The world is bananas tho so who knows.

Also, if he’s Jerry Rice light or TO light it might be worth it. lol
They would have to pay a huge amount of his contract to make it even a possibility
Agreed.

If we’re talking a Foskey type 2nd round pick I’d entertain it if the money was right.

If the 2nd round pick is like Kool Aid then heck no.

His age and contract mean imo he shouldn’t get more than a 5th. And look at the superstars being traded for peanuts…..

I’ll be upset if they trade him to KC.

Underhill and his guys speculated after the Dallas game about who would be good trade targets. Adams name, of course, came up.

The consensus was that if we got close to the trade deadline, had a good record and this could be "the year", you go all in and trade for him.

Our record isn't where it needs to be but I think he'd be a huge difference maker on offense. This is likely our last year with aging defensive stars, and the clock ticking on AK and Taysom.

I say screw it and figure out a way to make it happen. We badly need another reliable receiving option. Derek and Davante have great history...go all in.
He'd be an excellent #2 to Olave. Would move Shaheed to more of a #3 role and give Carr a bigger longer target.

Think of it this way, there were a couple throws on Sunday to both Olave and Shaheed that if they were maybe 6'2 with 33inch arms they'd potentially have gotten to. Football is a game of inches, and the Saints could use a few at WR. Was hoping that would be Juwan, and maybe he can carve out a role as the season progresses but I don't think it'll be at the high level we need right now.

Totally agree that he’d help, just don’t think we are Super Bowl contenders. I could certainly be wrong.

Send a 2nd and have Raiders pay 15 million of his salary this season. Would cost us around 1.5 million for the deal, then we would have to figure out how to re-sign him after or trade his remaining 2 years in the offseason. We could probably find a team that would give a 5th/6th in the offseason for him if we can’t work out a restructure/resign

I can't give up a 2nd for him. We really need that to be a starter at another position next year. DE, RT, LG, DT

I could do a 4th. And they have to eat half of his salary the next two years.

The way we've been playing for the last two games especially from the offense side of the ball, we need to pull the trigger on this trade. I dont know how or what we can do to pull this off but Mickey Loomis needs to do something to save this season.

Watching the Pat McAfee show, first time ever…they have A-Aron on and are talking about Adams being traded…..pretty funny.
