Raiders HC Antonio Pierce liked IG post saying Davante Adams played his last down in Vegas (3 Viewers)

Yeah, with word out that the Raiders want rid of him and his contract, I think they would be lucky to get a 4th or 5th round pick and it will be hard to find a team that can or is willing to take his contract.
I dont think the Raiders want to move him more than he is just ready to get outta there... The Commandos is the way to go. Davante would make waaaay too much sense for them. Or the Saints because of the chemistry with Carr.

The sticking point will be Davante is almost certainly gonna want a reworked contract from the trading team. With all the new WR money in the mkt it might be bad timing trying to trade a top tier WR.

Send a 2nd and have Raiders pay 15 million of his salary this season. Would cost us around 1.5 million for the deal, then we would have to figure out how to re-sign him after or trade his remaining 2 years in the offseason. We could probably find a team that would give a 5th/6th in the offseason for him if we can’t work out a restructure/resign
No one would touch him for a conditional 7th after this season with that remaining contract value.

The way we've been playing for the last two games especially from the offense side of the ball, we need to pull the trigger on this trade. I dont know how or what we can do to pull this off but Mickey Loomis needs to do something to save this season.
I agree w/ the need for the trade but not from a we need to "save the season" angle. We just got out of September, noones season is lost or on the verge of being lost right now.

Raiders is a weird organization to understand, because they never operate for what's the best for the Team. They always makes moves that are on the basis of financial self preservation.

Be wild the day Raiders sells and becomes a serious franchise.

Deep down, I think the league wants Davis to sell the team.

Why buy the overpriced contract when LVR will release at the end of year? If he gets injured, then he blows up your cap next year for 35M. Trade with restructure is the only way this works. Commanders, Jets, Chiefs would be top landing spots.

Totally agree that he’d help, just don’t think we are Super Bowl contenders. I could certainly be wrong.
I think if we're healthy and make it to the playoffs, I'm not ruling it out. I think that's partly because the NFC isn't as strong this year. If there was a year to roll the dice, I think this is it
