That was exactly what happened in Denver during McDaniel’s second season and Hackett’s first — attendance dropped to really low levels, and both got fired before those seasons ended. It needs to be empty NOW. Don’t show up to the Falcons game. Thats the only thing that these people care about.
This is 3 flat tires because the driver thought it'd be a good idea to drive through a construction site. We need a new driver while the car is still salvageable.
To be fair I don't see any quotes with Gayle or Mickey saying injuries were a supporting reason. Could be speculation but it would not surprise me either way.So is the new Saints standard that we must be 100% healthy or it's fine to stink?
As injuries go, we haven't had it that bad this year. We lost a starting CB and a second WR. Other than that, we were mostly healthy the entire season with a few bumps and bruises the last few weeks, but we had already cemented our suck by the time the injuries piled up.
Other teams have had far worse injury woes than us and performed better against tougher schedules.
This! You can’t mention Carr injuries when you resigned one of the highest paid back ups for a reason. If you aren’t gonna play the back up when the starter is “injured” don’t use the excuse later.I’m confused, I don’t know that we had that many more injuries than we ever have in the past or more injuries than any other team this year. If these injuries are the reason for the bad play, doesn’t that also still point to coaching since the backups were not capable of holding it down? And if Carr was so beat up that that’s the reason he played like crp, than doesn’t that also speak to coaching because they played him over a healthy Taysom or Jameis? Doesn’t this all go back to coaching?
Not to mention, full starters regressed…which…you know…goes back to coaching.
It’s the coaching.
This just reeks of them having guaranteed him 3 years from the get go, wins and fans be damned.
I can't remember the last time the Saints have been this healthy. So is the new Saints standard that we must be 100% healthy or it's fine to stink?

The counter is that it's only been mediocre because this is one of the easiest NFL schedules in NFL history. It really hasn’t- it’s been mediocre and sometimes for fans that’s worse
Actually pretty good pointIf that was their line of thinking then they wouldn't go out and buy a high priced engine (Carr) for the old car. You keep Winston and you have a ton of free money for years, can basically revamp your entire roster. Not to mention they spent a ton of money on restructuring old guys and their contracts to make them even more backloaded. They also wouldn't re-sign Jordan and add phantom years to contracts. If Loomis is trying to transition the roster he's doing a god awful job at it.
