Rashid Shaheed will undergo knee surgery to determine multiple weeks or rest of the season; Olave Out, Hill Doubtful for TNF game (33 Viewers)

next man, next man, next man, next man, next man, next man, next man up
I should not have chuckled as hard as I did.

W/ that being said I see opportunity. I see Bub Means getting increased snaps, I see Tipton getting a chance to get targeted on some deep balls. I see a chance for the TE's to expand on what we saw from them on Sunday w/ Rattler in the game, and I see an opportunity for Rattler and this offense to go to war and overcome their shortcomings. It's pretty interesting because Rattler probably has better timing w/ Tipton and Means because of working w/ them during TC on 2nd and 3rd team. Tipton got noticed because Rattler was airing it out to him a lot...and he was winning. Should also see some Kendre Miller tomorrow...that's also exciting.

Gotta get run game going though...because Underhill had a good point. For 2 Quarters Rattler nearly made us forget about everything that was ailing the offense. Then Bowles adjusted and it all came crashing down but Kubiak now has more data on Rattler and that should only help w/ how gameplans for him.

beats the alternative - i have no tears left
I'm not ready to pack it in on them yet. I'll be in the dome tomorrow and I'm as excited as I was Sunday, and interestingly enough I wasn't as heartbroken Sunday as I was last week vs Falcons. Mainly because I felt really good about what we got from Rattler, and how that can be built upon. As Bonchie mentioned, he didn't do anything that said "I'm the QB moving forward" but he didn't go all Ian Book on us either and the moment wasn't too big for him. Thats HUGE with regards to future
prospects.

How easily we have forgotten the 2021 season! We had just as many injuries throughout that year, including DB9. Yet, coaching managed to lead the team to a winning record.
Team wasn't as old on either side of the ball either. That Dennis Allen defense played a big part in making that possible.

Yep, we lost late in the season to the Bills and this was who we were rolling out on offense. Pretty incredible:

You may have forgotten that Drew Brees wasn't with the Saints during the 2021 season. He was in a broadcast booth.

To your point, the Saints were decimated by injuries that season as well.
