I'm more shocked people actually watched this show. Perhaps Fox, Sinclair Media,or NRA-TV picks the show up. Otherwise Good Riddance!

Yeah, that sucks. Some of those people haven't had good work in a long time.

Yet, it all seems so familiar. Wasn't she frequently on the verge of begin cancelled for some public outburst or another? I'm sure for the cast and crew that endured all of that, it's not terribly surprising.

I feel bad for Sara Gilbert who was really pretty incredible. I hope they figure out a way to spin it off into a show that focuses on her - that way more interests me than any other aspect of the show they were doing anyway.

Barr screwed a lot of people with her comment. A show like hers provides jobs for many, many people, actors, writers, producers, make-up, costume, set designers, and on and on. All of a sudden they are looking for work because of an incredibly dumb and racist joke. I feel sorry for all of them.

I never cared for Barr much before I knew her politics. I did see a few snippets of her first show and I thought the writers did a nice job satirizing how politically divided we are and poking fun at both sides, at least in the little bit I saw.

I am sure many will come to her defense and say she was a victim of the liberal media. Anyone who defends her should be put to the test on what they thought her comments meant. I try to be pretty balanced, but I don't see how anyone can say her comments were not racist.

Her apology referenced her comments as a poor joke. It didn't read like a joke to me at all. It just seemed hateful.

I kind of wish they would have left it. We don't really need Trump supports being pissed off about something else and feeling like more of an out class. That's kind of the reason we're in the place we're at with the president that we have.

That show was like their relief where they could laugh and not be so serious or mad about crap.

Honestly I think she's probably a drunk or a pillhead. Social media and lowered inhibitions are a bad combination.

Wow, ABC acted swiftly. I was not expecting that, but I see why they did it. Her "planet of the apes" comments could not have been more blatantly racist.

She is the most likeable one of those actors in real life from what I know about them, and she's definitely no angel either.

This is the same woman who grabbed her crotch while singing the National Anthem so I'm not surprised in the least that she turns out to be the racist piece of trash I suspected she was. Now she just confirmed it clear as day for any and everyone who ever wondered if she was from some comments she'd made in the past.

For real. That was a story that would not go away. I remember it being on the covers of all the magazines and tabloids at the grocery store when I was a kid for quite some time that summer.
