Saints Saints 2020 schedule [MERGED] (6 Viewers)

1. Brady week one, can’t start slow this year
2. OAK home opener, Monday night in new stadium(?)
3. LAC at home Monday night going into BYE; home teams going into bye often get caught sleep walking; must be alert, can’t look ahead
4. BYE week too early
5. 4 cold weather games (@CHI, @den, @PHI, @CAR)
6. SF will have extra rest, coming off Thursday night game
7. ATL coming off BYE week
8. 3 consecutive road games
9. Difficult schedule

It makes me so mad that we should of gotten are second super bowl two years ago when the refs screwed us. Cause now the competition has gotten so much better. John Lynch has built a juggernaut in San Fran for Kyle Shanahan to run. Hopefully they have the usual super bowl hangover this year. The Bucs have added Tom Brady and Gronk to an offense that had Jameis Winston just throw for 5,100 yards and 33 TDs. The Vikings seem to have our number the last few years, but they replaced Stefon Diggs with Justin Jefferson. Green Bay had a resurgence last year and they just ticked off their starting QB, so he’s likely to have a huge year. Will the Rams bounce back after their super bowl hangover? The Seahawks are always tough with Russel Wilson. Will Khalil Mack & the Bears get back to being one of the better teams in the NFC now that they have a competent, super bowl winning QB in Nick Foles? Will the FailClowns look better on defense? What will the Cowgirls look like with CeeDee Lamb added to Zeke and Amari? Will the Eagles finally stay healthy and compete again like they did a few years back? Plenty of questions in the NFC, but it sure looks to have some tough teams.
Nfc is stacked so it’s always hard to get through. Afc stinks but has prob the best 2 teams in the league. What is a better option?

Also two of those are cold weather away games at Denver and Philly. The other potential cold weather away games in Chicago and Detroit come early before winter is in full blast.

Detroit is an indoor game anyway, so time of year wouldn't have mattered much. They apparently flirted with converting Ford Field to a retractable roof for their MLS team, but that idea never came to fruition.

Not sure if you are a betting man, but if I remember correctly, a home favorite going into the bye week tends to cover the spread (do very well).

It's like God himself granted my first Saints game to be the Raiders opener.
Now let's see if he has a sense of humour.

i just looked up prices for tickets for vegas...900 per ticket for the cheap seats...seems pricey to me
it's asinine. no way i'm paying that much for tickets unless these brokers come to their senses. I'm going to try and catch when the Raiders release their single game tickets and buy them on Ticketmaster.

Unless I move out of Asia when the games are played irrelevant to me. I always have to watch them Monday if played on Sunday or Tuesday night if on Monday.

If the States Covid 19 spread follows a similar pattern to China, they shouldn't be an interruption of the schedule. Things got serious around here at the end of January. Now, schools are reopening, though only middle and high school this week.

Concerning the schedule: I am not a big fan of the three road games. While only 4 primetime games, it looks like we will be the game of the week on numerous occasions. (potentially).

Who we play was set in stone, but when and where was up to the League Narrators.

It would be harder to come up with more adverse dynamics if they tried. So, they obviously tried.

Agree, when you dig into the “when” and “where” the schedule is filled with adversity. Can’t convince me it fell this way by chance.

Gosh there is a lot of late games which I am never a fan of. I am always a fan of noon games just to get the anxiousness over with early on. Really hate waiting for a game to start at 3. It is mentally exhausting.

SSSSSSSSSSSssssssssssssssssssssss... I hate late games. Oops, scared my cat.

It is also pretty rough on those of us who travel, but can’t afford to fly or take days off. I love being in the dome at night, I really do, and wish to have as many nights games as possible just for the team’s sake and the fan’s sake. But I DON’T like the 3:00 games. Especially when we are playing an opponent to our east. There is no reason for our opening game of the season to be at 3:00. NONE. Nor is there a reason to schedule the Bears and Eagles games that late. The rest are understandable, given the time zone differential. I can only assume we will be the Game of the Week on those three days. If not, I’ll be disappointed.
