Carr's a good QB and will be an asset to New Orleans. You'll win more games with him than you would without him. I think you could say the same if he went to any of the NFCS teams. I meant it when I said the Saints are now the division favourites.

That said, would I want him on the Bucs? No, not with that contract, and not this year.

i'll admit I was wrong. as soon as Carr wasn't traded and he was meeting with other teams I said that was it, he's gone

so often it seems if it's us and other teams involved it ends up being not us

I think it’s very important for the Saints to have some sort of success to get past Payton/Brees and really look to the future.
Even a division title in ‘23 would do that.

I didn’t. I openly advocated here for the Saints to trade for Drew Brees the second the Chargers drafted Phillip Rivers.

There was a game Drew had in SD where his stats was something like 19/22, 220 yards and 2 TDs. I saw that stat line and said to myself, "the Saints need Drew Brees or someone close to him." Never in my wildest dreams did I think we would actually get HIM. I didn't think he'd become the goat, but I knew he was damn good.

Well if anyone trades for him it will be a contender more than likely plus by giving him this he helped us a ton with the cap.
