Saints at the top of Davante Adams’ wish list [Raiders trade Adams to Jets for conditional 3rd ; Jets paying Adams’ entire remaining salary] (2 Viewers)

6 to 8 weeks was the initial report, two weeks have passed, so it’s now 4 to 6 weeks.

He could be back as early as Carolina, but I’m thinking they save him for Atlanta the following week.

A month sounds daunting, but we can tread water until then, I think.
He had surgery just one week ago and I think that is when the clock began, but I could be wrong. We've seen these types of injuries take a really long time to heal and he's not going to be in game shape when he does come back. I think you're timeline is overly optimistic.

Kay Adams outright trying to help manifest the dream. 😂

EDIT: FWIW, Davante makes mention of Shaheed having “The best coach in the world over there,” obviously referring to Keith Williams.

Teams haven't really had to send extra pressure to get to Carr in the last 2 games. DTs are just blowing up the middle of the line. Hopefully that will change when Ruiz gets backs and get even better when McCoy comes back. And hopefully we are still in the hunt by the time that happens.

I believe the Saints will be. The Saints are a miraculous pick-6 or a non-fumbled punt away from being 3-1. I think the biggest things that have been exposed is McCoy was literally the best Center in the league this year and Hill was very important in his gadget role. Hill has as many TDs in the Atlanta game as the rest of the Saints offense had against Philly and Atlanta combined. Relying so much on Hill's production for the offense when he's 34 with an injury list that makes a CVS receipt blush is probably the only real thing to criticize Kubiak of.

I'm not a fan of giving up future assets and stressing future cap for Adams, but at the same time, the way the Saints offense looks without McCoy and Hill, I think they feel a genuine pressure to try to do something.

Ultimately I think Adams ends up with the Jets. It makes too much sense for Adams to re-unite with his mentors in New Orleans and fill a clear void the Saints have. It is just such a Saints thing to see a player that makes so much sense to be here, not be here.

I 1000% hope to get a chance to eliminate Detroit in a playoff game this year. Tired of this clown hating on us.

That team has one good year and suddenly talks like they’re the class of the NFL going for a fifth straight title or something.

Agree with you on the one year of success angle lol. He sure does clown the Saints a lot haha.

I’ve said it before but wow at the way things go ‘round with a Lions player taking digs at the Saints.

Why does he talk about the Lions like they have the lineage of the Cowboys, Steelers, or 49ers?
Heck, Detroit isn’t a long time playoff contender.
Less than five years ago, they were at the bottom of the League.
