I guess. I mean, I know the offense scored more points today than last week. Does that mean we don't need him anymore?Well, the difference was the game. We've seen enough at this point.

Yeah…. Pointless now. 2 weeks ago this made some sense…. Now…. Not at all.

I like the thought process, but I think Marshon is having a good year. I know he's about to get expensive, but he's one of the things right with the Saints right now.You know what would be cool to trade for? A third round pick. They get Marshon Lattimore.

Yeah, I get it. I guess if Kool Aid can develop and Taylor can maintain we'd at least still have a couple of good guys back there. He's at the back half of his career, still has good years left, and his high level of play gives him real desirability. His contract makes zero sense for the Saints with their cap issues and depth at CB, but a potential playoff team looking to shore up their defense? Look at the Commanders. They could be 7-2 going into the trade deadline. Their defense hasn't been great, but adding a top flight corner still in his prime would give them a big boost, especially in a very weak looking NFC East. Washington also has a ridiculous amount of cap space this season and beyond.
The Saints get much needed cap relief and a solid draft pick. Washington gets a high level corner to help what is looking very much like a playoff team.
277 given up on the ground. You read that right. 2-7-7.It didn't make sense 2 weeks ago because this or something close to this was always going to happen. It's a team with no depth that can't stop the run and can't run the ball.
Yep and have benched their first round pick corner Forbes. He's at the back half of his career, still has good years left, and his high level of play gives him real desirability. So in other words you can't guarantee anything and it's all your complete speculation.I can all but guarantee that ML and his agent have already had talks about what it would take to re-negotiate more yrs on his contract . I'd bet $$ on it
Was I in the room ? Of course not. But it's not hard to understand from yrs past how ML works. He's very meticulous and covers all his bases. Kind of like when it rains, I can speculate that the ground is going to get wetSo in other words you can't guarantee anything and it's all your complete speculation.
Lol, I get that. I would say that Philly and Atlanta were both close games where we got a lead late and give it up. So in spite of the injuries, they came close. I wasn't ready to throw in the towel at that point. Chiefs are defending champs, so didn't put any stock in that one.I'd seen enough after Philly, Atlanta, and KC.
I get roasted annually over cap issues. The team had Brees who could will us to a handful of wins himself so I get the cap situation then. When he retired it was time to reset. Since then we've kept the same thing going. 9-8, 7-10, 9-8, 2-4 so far. $81 million over already for 2025. It's uuuuuugly.I was getting roasted hard this off season over the cap issues... looks like more and more people are waking up each day.
