At this point, I’d like to see the team move on entirely from Payton coaching holdovers and start fresh with somebody who can look at every aspect of the team in a new way. Scheme, personnel, how they practice, game planning and prep, conditioning, all of it.

Agreed. There's no argument for continuity anymore, we need a fresh start. Next year needs to be about purging the roster and cleaning up the cap. Look to what Campbell did in Detroit -- they were terrible when he started, but he built a foundation that players could buy into.

It also doesn't mean that Loomis would not have fired DA, in fact it is very likely the opposite.....

The only credit Loomis deserves is an all out attempt to put as much lipstick as that pig could stand.....in the end the Saints players and their fans have to suffer it.....

Dennis is more of a coverage type. Spags need a pass rush from his front 4. He had that with
the Giants and now has it with the Chiefs, I prefer Spags approach. Getting the Qb on the ground
is still the best defense.
