Saints hosted RB Kareem Hunt and LB Anthony Barr (Upd: Hunt leaves Colts/Vikings visits w/ no deal; Giants cancel Barr visit) (1 Viewer)

Interesting to see the only difference between New Orleans and Indy for Hunt was guaranteed money.

Barr may happen for us, but he’s a major injury concern. However, I think he’s worth the risk.

Honestly I don't there is much risk if at all, he signed for 1 year 2M last year, doubt he gets more than that and we have 10M+ available

not really interested in neither but because of Demario status, really need a veteran to fill the spot for now

Hunts gonna find out the hard way what he’s worth this off season. Big demands no takers. Doesn’t want incentive laden contract? Doesn’t want to earn it? The. Gets guaranteed money from Indy and that isn’t good enough either? Hope he doesn’t play a down this year with that kind of attitude. If he was the man he would be on a team.

He's pretty much one starter banging a knee from doubling his money. Cant blame him. He wont end up making less than current offers if he waits. No reason for him to jump on the first available offer. He's gonna eventually land somewhere.

Well you can't fault players from finding the best deal possible. Nature of the business. In fact that's real life for most people. We will gravitate to the job that pays the most.

You're letting your emotions get the best of you. No matter where you are in life, if you have the option to negotiate, you'd be a fool to not negotiate. This is part of the process. He's not being irrational or asking for a brinks truck, he's navigating an extremely important decision. If you've ever had your choice of job offers, you'd get it.

... in this scenario, has Dalvin Cook turned down an offer first?

I feel like he will be anyone's first call if a starter goes down.
