D'Marco Jackson played the second most snaps on Special Teams last season for the Saints. Their #1 ST'er last season, Zack Baun, is now an Eagle. I think he's a lock just on that fact alone.

Yeah. Didn't mean to imply that Jackson didn't play special teams. Just saying that Dowdell was a guy they liked on special teams before his injury last year so they may like him better on special teams than Hudson.

The Saints aren't finished making cuts today. As of now, Kamara, Williams, Mims, and Prentice remain on the roster leading up to the initial 53-man roster at 3pm.

There will be a slew of WRs and some good RBs on the market after the cuts are made today.

There are also a few veteran free agent players that remain unsigned.

I hope we go shopping at Bronco mart. We could use WR help and they're stacked.

I disagree about our RBs. I think the run game overall looked improved over last year. So I guess we just disagree there.

But, our RBs are Kamara, Williams, Taysom Hill, and Mims. The only guy he might be conceivably better than is Mims and Mims is really here to play the receiving back role if AK gets hurt or needs a rest. I'm not sure Perine would be better in that role than Mims and it's conceivable that Hill would get those catches if Kamara is hurt or needs a rest. I also don't know if Perine really fits an outside zone run scheme. I know Denver isn't running that but I'm not sure if the Bengals do.

Well yeah…he’s not better than Taysom who isn’t even listed at RB. Mims is completely ordinary. I was sort of hoping to see the other guys when he was on the field.

Thanks for posting. Pretty funny article though-- the suggestion of a 6th for Turner plus a seventh? As down on Turner as folks have been, that is crazy talk.
