And the thing is Wash has NOT beaten ANY good teams. Their best win was against the Bengals and that was when they were playing bad. Wash will lose a few more games . I see 3-4 more L's for themThis is silly
Yes I would have preferred pick 72 but to act like the return is trash is silly.
Go look at WSHs schedule coming up.
They are worth that when the player doesn't want to be here anymore, when he's often injured and about to turn 29, and when your team won't likely be contending for the playoffs until that player is 32 or 33. Under those circumstances, you are happy with a top 100 pick and some change in addition to the salary cap space you create to rebuild your team in 2026 or 2027.
Can’t say as I can recall an active 92 year old NFL player.LOL SMH. Do you know how many GREAT players have been taken @ 92 or later ??????????
About 16% of 3rd rnd players drafted make a significant impact in the league.I scrolled through the last ten years drafts to prove you wrong. And I did see a handful of good 3rd and 4th round picks. But I was also amazed at how many of those names never made a roster. Maybe luck does have something to do with it.
One less position we have to invest in as they are on rookie deals and what we got in the Lattimore trade we should have and be depending on more young players on rookie deals next year as this roster and team is remodified. That's worth it. Our remaining CBs will be kn rookie deals, that makes eating that dead cap a lot easier.
Absolutely sucks, but no additional voids or anything to worry about years later. After next year cap should open up in a way we haven’t seen in a long time. Fans have to understand we’re going to lose favorites like cam and Demario. Others like ram, Saunders and even Carr have to go as well imoIt's bad next year, but that's the end of the line for the Lattimore cap saga.
$31M in 2025 money.
$0 in 2026 money.
It stinks but this is medicine we need to take.
I think RAM is done and he knows it. I saw a new picture of him. He is small now.Absolutely sucks, but no additional voids or anything to worry about years later.
