There's a good chance -- do they just recast him? He's supposed to be the big bad for the next 5-6 movies, so yeah, the MCU could be in even more trouble.

I saw this. His attorney thinks there's nothing to this and he'll be exonerated. So, we'll see.

Lol. Maybe he thinks that, and maybe he’s right, but every attorney since the dawn of jurisprudence has said that about their client.

People tend to forget an isolated incident fairly quickly. It’s consistent behavior that becomes a publicity issue. We are probably a year before Kang shows up on screen gain in any major way. If nothing else happens the American attention span will have long forgotten this.

Unless it's just a nightmare scenario it will be swept under the rug relatively quickly. We'll have to see hown it develops of course.


Also, Victoria Alnozo didn't resign, she got sheet canned. Lots of drama in the wake.

Yeah, idk what's what with that case, the article sounds pretty vague. She suffered minor injuries and I guess she decided to press charges against him for assault. We'll see if this sticks. My guess is they'll settle out of court and it becomes a non-story in a few months. We'll see.

About as bad as can be:

1. They just had their first true flop at the box office coming on the heels of decreasing performances for movies both financially and critically.

2. Their executive in charge of special effects, Disney+ shows, animation, etc. just got fired and is now in a PR war of words with Disney and threatening to sue, while Disney is basically saying "Sure, do that. We'd love to fill in the blanks you're leaving out-of your version of the story."

3. The actor for the big phase 5 villain is getting bad press.

4. Rumors from insiders of major discord between top execs at the studio.

Yeah, I guess I wonder if legit trying to strangle someone would leave only minor injuries. Seems like that would leave some serious bruising in the neck and face area.

That said, putting your hands around someone's neck is something I've never done, so idk how hard you'd have to squeeze to cause neck injury.

I know that some have that sort of fetish during sex, but wouldn't think that would result in injuries.

No idea what happened in this case. We'll see, maybe.

Strangulation doesn't just mean trying to choke someone out, in this case it refers to placing his hands around her neck - which is something abusers do to establish control of a situation. She has injuries consistent with her accusations... at this point I'm not watching anything with him in it. If he establishes his innocence or otherwise makes amends (how does one adequately make amends here?).. then I'll come back on, but at this point, I'm out.
