I hope so. Every other game this year was a stinker. People often save up a week or more's pay to take their family to a game. These millionaire players need to respect that.

The funny thing was during team intros they said QB Taysom Hill and people cheered and then QB Derek Carr followed right behind him and half the Dome booed
I don’t think you got it straight at all.Let me get this straight, y'all are complaining that the Saints players have taken exception to the booing yet many of y'all were quick to turn on DC when he was holding Olave accountable and raised his voice?
It's a bit more subtle than that. The players need "motivation" to do their job? I thought that is what the money was for?
And seriously these gen Y & Z players wouldn't have made it through game day in the 1980s. The Dome was brutal. I have friends who used to go to the games and work their way down to behind the Saints bench so they could give it to the players. And the ushers would be right there shaking their heads in approval saying "you right...".
Earnhardt used to say I don’t care if they boo or cheer as long as they are making noise. He got it. When you hear silence it means they either don’t care about you or they quit coming. No problem, pretty soon seats will be empty and there will be no more booing. My analogy is that of a bad marriage. The poor effort of one spouse needs to be called out at some point. At the point apathy sets in and there is no complaining it may be over. The booing means the fans still care. Tread carefully Saints.
Jeff is entertaining to listen to, imo, but I don’t get this at all. Isn’t booing the team in hopes it motivates them to perform better? Who is Pearl clutching? Whole point of that tweet seems weird and contradictory.
So fans boo hoping it makes them play worse, not better? In hopes of motivating them? Come on. No one thinks that. It's a base level of expressing disappointment and contempt. There's nothing good involved.
The couple of times I boo’d was due to us constantly having Kamara and Taysom on the sideline. Yes it was a basic way to show displeasure and hoping they would start putting Taysom and Kamara on the field. Doesn’t seem to that complicated to meIn hopes of motivating them? Come on. No one thinks that. It's a base level of expressing disappointment and contempt. There's nothing good involved.
