The Building is on FIRE and Mrs Gayle Benson’s CEO is watching it burn. (1 Viewer)

We had an above .500 season and the building is on fire?

You are the hyperbole grand master supreme!
Above .500 with a cupcake schedule that Ohio State would be bashful about. That is NOTHING to brag about or even think is noteworthy. A broken clock is right 2x a day. Let's celebrate that also.

no one is celebrating dood. I said we had a disappointing season. I am just saying "the building is on fire" is ridiculous hyperbole.

FO doesn't see a building on fire. But they will see a building at half capacity come September. Now THAT will make the FO sick to their stomach as we, as fans, have been since DA strolled into HC role. Sadly, that is the only thing that moves the barometer- declining revenue.

Can we just rename the site to the Irony Era all the Drama for a 9-8 Coach makes me yearn for a decade of mediocrity with an Iron Mike type Coach. A couple of seasons of 6-11 and one 3-14 season should be enough to thin out the fan base ....oh the days of interesting things to talk about.

I still come here for information. But lately I only seem to see the same negative opinions repeated endlessly. Lots of unsupported opinion and very little fact. The site is turning into one big overblown hatefest. I get that we all need to blow off steam after an awful season like the last one, but remember, steam is mostly just hot air.

Ditka would’ve won 9 games with this schedule and division. Sometimes you have to look into it a little further than going straight to Ditka.

Micky Loomis is a good man and a great accountant. But he is not a football man and has no vision for the future. He owes his loyalty to Mrs Benson and the fans, not his Coaches and Staff. News is that he is considering bringing back Dennis Allen and hiring ex-Coach Jon Gruden who is under suspension by the NFL for Racism. What positive effect could that bring to a team that has already lost respect for its Head Coach because of how he mistreated a Black Quarterback whom they ( the players) respected and believed in? Does anyone care how this could affect the culture of the team, the loyalty of the fans of color, and the signing of highly talented- high character black players in Free Agency?

It’s time to move on. We cannot afford to keep stumbling, we must keep pace with the rest of the league. WAKE UP! It’s time to bring in a real Fire Fighter and Builder, to put out the fire and repair the damages

It’s time to hire the best GM available and give him all the Keys.

We are at a crossroads, if the wrong decision is made it may be decades before we win another Championship, or maybe Never.
Well, there's some new thoughts!

It's not on fire.

I actually agree it’s not on fire. If they fire Allen, we can move forward. I think we would be in the pkayoffs this weekend if Loomis would’ve fired him mid season and let Rizz or Marrone guide the ship.

It’s 1 guy, and add Loomis if he won’t make the move.

All the open coaches spots and OCs will get filled and we will end up running it back like last year. We are always 2/3 weeks behind.

How so? Dudes marry for money too. You can make what I said genderless and it wouldnt change anything. Read it again. It has ZERO to do with gender or sexism. ZERO. Thats a pure clown response.

You just dont like truth. She, or if it were reversed, He, has zero experience in building anything. Tom Benson built this from the ground. He understood how to run a business and a franchise. He never went live on a horse farm in Kentucky and he never let anyone get so comfortable in their positions that they no longer had to really care about results.
In 1985 Tom Benson was a very wealthy car dealership owner. It was Jim Finks who rebuilt the franchise into a winner. Words have power and meaning. You chose those words to describe Mrs Benson and they were inappropriate.

"Building is on fire" is hyperbole, but saying that we're at a crossroads is not IMO. ML and DA are not going anywhere, but it they make changes to the offensive coaching staff, the fans at least will see that they are making an effort to improve. OTOH, if they stand pat and pretend everything is fine, I think fans will go into full revolt.

... teams that fire coaches every other year are losing franchises (See Carolina and Vegas)... I am on board giving DA one more year to see how this plays out but getting rid of ML would be a massive mistake.

What about San Fran? They fired two successive coaches after just 1 year each because it was obvious they weren't the right fit for a championship. And look what they landed in their third year.

And we are going to sit on our thumbs for 3 years with a coach who is very clearly not right because of continuity. It's lazy and complacent leadership.
